I'm impressed, Rev, you are genuine to the core! "FM Sacred" on the radio!

While not at the same time I was fit for every club in my bag as well as the Pro VI ball. I use the chrome soft x ls on my league course.  It has much softer softer greens than the club that I belong to. 

I’m on a mission to shoot my age - lifetime lowest round is 66 and I’m currently 67.

Our normal Tuesday blitz round was rescheduled for (tomorrow) Wednesday.  It's been colder than a well diggers arse the last three days however tomorrow is back in the upper 50's. Even better Thursday with temps around 70 degrees through Sunday. I feel sorry for you folks up north fighting the ice and stuff.  Heck I go three or four days and I get cabin fever.... :wacko:

I got to play this afternoon - 4 inches of snow just melted, it also rained today, low 40's, windy...

 

We only had time for 9 holes, and despite the weather, I shot a 43.

 

My buddy didn't fare so well at 54!

 

Weather is supposed to be mild again tomorrow, so I'm planning to sneak in another 9 - then it gets ugly for another week...

Can't wait for spring!  Friend of mine just installed a Swing Tunnel.  Hopefully spend some time on it next weekend. 

 

What is a swing tunnel?

 

I went to the range this morning and hit a medium bucket. Have to say, the results were about what I expected not having swung a club since October.

 

I started to get a bit quick and was hitting everything off the toe, but once I slowed my back swing down, 90% of my shots were going straight and from the centre of the face.

 

The JPX-EZ 3 wood is still a beast off the deck for me, hitting it 250, straight with range rocks.

Dang its been tough here in January. Another damn mid-70s, sunny day with a gentle breeze. That weather has made the greens super fast and true, fairways firm and green, absolutely nothing to blame a bad shot on.

 

Best January so far in my 12 years down here in Jax.

I am thinking of running over to Jonesco in a while, letting the wind dry it out a bit from the past 3 days of heavy rain.  It always seems to dry out quick but these past 3 days will be a challenge even for them.  We'll see how it goes.
