I am traveling for work this week and I actually had my afternoon appointment cancel on Tuesday. I had some morning meetings and took some clients out for lunch. So it was all coming together. The afternoon all to myself to go to a golf specialty store to try out different drivers. Ahhh the stars are in alignment. Well the place they chose for lunch and what I ordered gave me food poisoning. Barely made it back to my hotel room with seconds to spare. I think I wore a path in the carpet from the bed to the bathroom. Luckily by 11:00 that night I was fine. But of course I don't have any breaks in my schedule to be able to test anything before I fly home. Of course there is no place close to home to test clubs either. So my testing plan was a bust! Probably should expand on this. All 4 of the groups I play in are early morning guys. That way we still have remainder of the day on our other activities indoors and outdoors. By 11:00am it’s warm and by 3:00 beautiful. For example, 7:00am it was 40*, by 11:00 62* and this afternoon 70* and sunny since daybreak. GolfSpy_SHARK
Man I tell ya I hate talking about child support. I agree it is necessary but it’s such a flawed system in the 21st century. Getting reviewed because the DOR thinks it’s time. Feels like such a waste when I have never missed a payment, never complained. Son is with me 50% of the time, wants for nothing and any expenses are split. Insane to me when there are plenty of schmucks out there probabky not paying a woman working 2 jobs trying to make ends meet. RichL85
My wife walked into work this morning to find a sent email on the computer saying that an outside individual had accepted a position that she had been promised back in November. Not much to say other than she was livid and was somewhere between crying and destroying anything in sight. I also booked my travel to Florida and of course my flight out is the same day that I was scheduled for the Taylormade fitting, so I'll have to cancel that. Now to decide if I'm going to bring my clubs or go through the rental process again. Several years ago our pro was going through a "life crisis"; didn't quit, but his presence at the course changed dramatically. We got an asst pro that "took a little training" according to my wife, but after a year, he was very likable and a very good teacher. Plus he’d always stop an ask how my wife and son were doing after they were born, he really took an interest in learning about every member. He’d get a lot of brownie points to say the least.
