16 18 hole rounds and 3 nine holers. I had surgery in March that cost me a couple of weeks.

Fairways:  Ping G410 5, 7, 9 wood  Alta CB red 65 R flex

Hybrid:  Ping G410  26 degree  Alta CB Red 70 R flex

Irons: Ping G430  7-PW, 45, 50 Alta CB black 65 soft R flex

Wedges and irons are - 1/2” and one degree flat

Putter: Sacks Parente Duke 32.5”

Ball: Titleist Pro VI or Callaway Chrome Soft X ls

While not at the same time I was fit for every club in my bag as well as the Pro VI ball. I use the chrome soft x ls on my league course.  It has much softer softer greens than the club that I belong to.

I’m on a mission to shoot my age - lifetime lowest round is 66 and I’m currently 67.

I have a friend who comes down from Vermont about a week per month from October to April. I played with him his first and last round at Bayou. During that time he played 71 rounds. He was in Florida for a total of 68 days. Pretty impressive.

I played 16 rounds in January, 20 in February, 18 in March, 17 in April, 6 so far in May... what is that? 77 total? I have played in a lot of really bad/cold/rainy weather, but I really should be better considering how often I play! ;)

It is the start of a new season.

How many rounds did you get to play in 2022 and how many do you plan to play in 2023?

Or how many have you already played in 2023?

I have my first round of the season booked for Monday!

For ‘22, 101 rds at my course and ~20 additional courses around the city and outside Ohio.
Planning to play just as many rds in ‘23.
I’ve got 6 rds in already for ‘23. Not bad for southwest Ohio!!

I am in a bit of a grind and push right now to get my rounds in and paid for (need 18 to pay off the membership price) before baby comes in June. I am at 10 now with another 2 next week, so well on pace!

Now if only I could start playing a little better!

In 2020 I had 99 rounds, in 2021 I had 130 rounds and in 2022 I had 134 rounds.  I'm on my way toward 140 rounds this year.  That's only rounds posted in the GHIN system and does not include various scramble tournaments I played in.  96% of those rounds were on the same course:  Key West Golf Club.

You would think that with almost 350 rounds of golf over the last three years on the same course I'd figure it out!?

You have!  Believe me… it would be much worse if you’d played only 50 rounds a year.

I was in Myrtle Beach for a month in Feb/Mar.  Played 15 rounds in 27 days.  At first it was mental grind after the first two.  The last 5 were a blast.  Played 3 as a solo and got out in front of everyone.  Went around the Dye course at Barefoot Landing in 2:45 and it did not feel rushed at all.  Also helped that I shot my second best score of the 15 rounds and finished with the same ball I started with.  That was something that I cannot recall when if ever I had done.  Heading to Thailand next week for a few days and have 3 rounds scheduled in Hua HIn.  Sometimes living in Hong Kong is great, but golf in HK outside of indoor style is a challenge for those who play as a single.  Sorry to hijack the thread

I have played 4 rounds this year. Mainly because my office is in Florida and I live in upstate New York.
it’s a nice break. Unfortunately it’s not long enough during the winter.
I usually play 85-120 during the year. Depends on how work goes during the day.

In the last 8 months, I only have 20 18-hole scores posted on GHIN.  However, virtually none of my rounds on my winter golf tour are posted (it’s winter, and therefore we are outside of score posting season).  Furthermore, I do not post any of the scores from the 18-hole rounds that I play in the NJ Senior Men’s Golf League, nor do I post scores from my 9-hole recreational league(s), as these leagues do not play in strict accordance with USGA Rules (no stroke-and distance penalties for OB, rake and place the ball in unkempt bunkers if desired, etc.). This eliminates a minimum of 16 to 20 18-hole rounds and 26 to 30 9-hole rounds per year.

If you count the 20 to 24 rounds that I play on my winter golf tour, the 20+ rounds from the senior travel league, and the equivalent of 13 to 15 18-hole rounds from my recreational leagues to the 30+ rounds that I do post, I play at least 80-85 rounds of golf each year. This doesn’t include the “practice rounds” that I play, where I play more than one ball or play less than 18 holes. Most times, I either don’t keep score during these practice rounds or I play “worst ball” when I hit multiple tee shots.

EDIT: I forgot about the rounds of golf that I play from November through March (non-posting season for handicap purposes) that are not part of the winner golf tour season. In an average year, I manage to get out at least a handful of times, and in a relatively mild winter like the current one, it’s more like 4 to 6 rounds per month. That would bring my annual total to about 100 18-hole rounds.

Today will mark the 5th round this week.

Monday rode, Tuesday walked. Wednesday driving range. Thursday rode, Friday walked. Saturday indoor simulator. Sunday (today) walking.

I'm surprisingly not tired. I think my stamina is building and not walking every time I think is helping with fatigue as well.

The worst fatigue I've gotten is day 3 of 3 straight days walking 18.

5 this week brings me to 15 full rounds and 2x 9 holes in March. Year to date is 36 full rounds and 7x 9 holes.

For the past 3 years I've played less than average once a week, so I am already close to eclipsing that in 3 months.
