Hey guys.

 

I have been lurking around the site for a while and decided it was time to say hi.  The name is Matthew (not Matt!) and I just picked up the sport last summer at 34 years of age and I will readily admit that I am a terrible golfer. :D  But I still have fun trying.  I mainly play in 9-hole scrambles after work with co-workers but I manage to squeeze in a full round every once in a while.  I took a few lessons last summer and that helped a lot but have been going at it myself ever since by reading, watching videos and whatnot.  Slowly but surely getting better, I think. :P

 

I have been reading the articles on this site for a couple of months now and I have to say I am a big fan of the unbiased, consumer oriented, data-driven approach.  Many hours at work have been spent reading old reviews and most wanted posts.  The new fitting app has me excited too, for when I have a stable enough swing to where fitting would make sense. 

 

Anyway, looking forward to hanging out with you fine folks.
