a FIVE putt from 10 feet - Maggert

Painful to watch but we've all been there...allegedly

I really thought this was set up by the first putt. He hit it firm and it broke hard below the hole, so he hit every other putt on the high side and they all stayed up. He had to feel like "I know it breaks that way, that's how I missed the first one!"

Agree about the first putt, but it was a poor read.  Tried to take the break out, but never played enough break.  After that, he never took his time to line up the putt and hit them all too hard.

Too bad... he shot 63 in the 2nd round.  He could have been closer to the lead.

After the second one missed he kind of looked like I don’t care anymore and just started banging the putts until it finally went in.

This was rough to watch, but a reminder of how rough the game really is. The pros just make it look so easy most of the time.

Hopefully this is the only time this happens to Marggert. It’s rough to experience.
