DHGATE CLUB PERFORMANCE

Hey guys,

My question is: Has anyone ever bought and used clubs off Dhgate? I want to know how they perform compared to how good as they look. The manufacturers are calling them OEM which means original equipment manufacturer suggesting they are real and if not, of very similarities. Please let me know if they perform as the should.

100% fake - do not chance it. Better off buying used clubs from globalgolf, 2ndswinggolf, callawaygolfpreowned, etc from a couple years ago and have something that is actually decent quality.

I agree with the above posters. Look at it this way, Do you really want to give money to somebody purposely selling fakes?

I have to add I'm a big proponent of supporting local. Yes I've bought a lot online and such, but if the price is ever close for the local shop even if it's a bit more I don't mind supporting them as they do a lot for the community and provide excellent customer service. At least if there is a local place around!

I hadn't heard of DHGATE until seeing this thread.  That led to a google search that led me into the nether regions of Chinese clone/fake/whatever club selling.  I think it explains some of the stupidly low prices of new/nearly new clubs on ebay.  I think the question is do you want to save a lot of money by buying from those people, knowing you are essentially stealing from OEMs?  OEM prices have become outrageous but that may not be a justification.  In order to get a new set of irons for what I consider a reasonable price, I recently bought a set of Maltby TS-2 irons from Golfworks.  Quality clubs built to my specs with premium shafts and grips for well under $700.  I recommend going that route or buying used from a reputable source.
