The Good Morning Thread

Good morning fellow spies from what is going to be a beautiful fall day in Wisconsin. Highs in the 60s and sunny, but I of course have to work until 5pm which means most likely no golf. I did sneak in 9 holes yesterday with my two boys in tow and played about as well as I have recently, sans one blow up hole. Zero three putts, unfortunately no one putts, but loving the Scotty and how it's rolling the ball. Also put the Aerojet Max driver back in play and hit some solid drives, including a 267 yard draw on a dogleg right par 5. Parred the first two holes and finished +9 on the 9 (after a triple bogey on the Par 5 fourth), so was pleased with that result, although frustrated with myself after the errors on one hole. 

Going to get on the range today over lunch or possibly try to play a few holes.

I do a Cryo wand for the hands and added a treatment for my wrists earlier in the week. I also do the old, old Castor oil regimen on my hands… Keeps me functional and from having to show any weakness to the Royal Culler of the Realm… Good luck with the continued PT and enjoy the massage this afternoon.

First time poster, really love the positive energy that comes from this thread. It is about 60 degrees here in Delmarva, climbing into the 70's this afternoon. Going to be able to sneak out for 18 today, feeling very grateful and will be savoring every moment. Went on a golf trip to South Carolina about 3 weeks ago and have only been able to play once since with minimal practice. Really just going to enjoy the sunshine and company today.

Good morning spies! 

New to me 3-wood arrived yesterday afternoon, spent my evening getting acquainted with it on my net and think we're going to get a long just fine.  
Was supposed to have a lesson last night, but my instructor is feeling under the weather. Will have to get out to the range/practice facilities and put some time in to make up.

Booked 18 holes for Sunday at WinterStone Golf Course, really looking forward to it. I haven't been out here since June, but still one of the nicest public courses I've played in the KC metro (just a little bit far north of me).

It's a beautiful day in Indy today, Spies, so I think I will spend it inside the office tower pushing paper.  I got to start my day cleaning carpets thanks to the aftereffects of the puppy's steak thefts (two NY strips Gone in 60 Seconds), then dropped the car off for repairs.  It was not the most pleasant of mornings.  Welcome to the party @3PuttParT!  LOL.  Sorry to kill the vibe; I promise I am usually much more chipper.

The day will get better.  I hope all of your days started and stay excellent.

It's a beautiful morning here in TN, mid 50's and clear. It's been a bit stressful at the Chunks house trying to take care of my late mother-in-law's estate. Won't go into details, but my wife is stressed out.

On a positive note, the foot is feeling so much better and I can see a glimpse of golf in my future. I'm really thankful to have all of you as support these last few months.

Rainy hump day in Central NY. I’m a bit under the weather today. Will take a COVID test later. No coffee when I’m feeling blech. Tea is the cuppa for me today. I have a but of headache going not sure if it’s from being sick or a general lack of caffeine in my system as I do gray headaches from that as well.

oof feeling under the weather today dealing with some allergies (I hope). Yesterday, I got out and played a round and played my best golf ever through 13 holes before my back started killing me and my allergies kicked in. I was +4 through 13 with some easier holes remaining so I was looking at an opportunity to break my record. But, I started to struggle on 14 and finished +9 after going +5 on the last 5 holes... not fantastic. 

The exciting thing is that I shot +2 on the front 9 and had 6 birdie putts! Although none of them dropped, that's more birdie looks than I have ever had in 9 holes BY FAR. Those putts will fall soon!

Good day spies!

Perfect weather here in Ohio (70 sunny). No golf today however due to being chained to my desk (boo).

Hope everyone has a wonderful hump day and gets out to play! Don’t forget that tomorrow is World Sight Day. What better way to celebrate than to hit something really small, really far away and try to see where it lands? Best exercise to train your peepers in my book.

    Wednesday my spies is just a time to exhale before gearing up to attack the weekend… Fairways and greens, my friends, fairways and greens.

Looks like a load of drill pipe to me. I hauled quite a few loads of it back in the day when I had my truck leased to C&H Transportation out of Dallas Texas. Definitely an equipment hauling trailer with the pull down ramps. Thinking about C&H man that was 30 years ago or more time flies

Good Morning up as usual 3rd cup of coffee in hand---- No golf for me today it is raining in fact it appears to be raining all over the SE---- Managed to play Tuesday and yesterday. Usually I do not play 2 days in a row but we knew the rain was coming in and it was a chance for me to see if I could go 2 in a row again. Even though it is cool and damp I have just a little pain and stiffness. I have already worked that out with my bands and exercise. So if not for the rain I feel I could have went today with no problems. Did do well in the League Thursday and played well and wone some$$$. Tuesday was meeh but managed to break even. Yesterday went $5 in the hole but that was ok. It could have been bad because I had 2 triples on account of me trying to pull the trigger too quickly on the driver and snap hooking it. One of the triples I tried to play hero again when I should have taken an unplayable. But good came out of it because it could have been a terrible round but I did salvage an 83 out of it. On our handicap system for our league it updates daily as soon as we post so mine is back up to 12 again. I think the wife and I are going later despite the rain up to the Waffle House in Surfside and have breakfast. More than likely I will work in the shop today.

Edit--- Another positive on the snap hooking means I am starting to get SS back and am getting through the ball good again. LOL this is the first time I have snap hooked anything since my accident 3 years ago and to do it 2 times in the same round well it sounds strange but WOW!

Good morning Spies on a cool and cloudy Michigan morning. Already at work, and the best part of my workday will be staying later for the community call. Doesn't look like I will get a no commute day this week, being short staffed as it is, when another takes a couple days off, that means I need to go into the facility. Hoping to get a round in on Sunday, looks to be the driest day of the upcoming weekend. Hope that your day is the best that it can be, and that some enjoyable time will be part of your day.

Good morning MGSpies on a drier Thursday working towards the weekend from the command central basement outpost in WNY and again Sumatra is too hot but the smell is almost as satisfying as the taste   posted a few photos on my FB from yesterday's rain soaked round, but it was drizzle so not bad at all and I was not the only golfer out there, and it never fails to amaze me that lower rounds happen in heavier rain 42 on Tues and 49 yesterday   Tee time happens today just before Community Call so planning to give anyone watching a view from the front or back 9 whichever the Starter points us to  hope golf is a part of your day

One last practice yesterday to get our heads right so hopefully it translates into something fruitful today. Good morning! I have a handful of meetings today, but also some good downtime which may warrant a trip to hit some golf balls. It's supposed to rain all day, so I'll be spending my time indoors. Hopefully, the day goes quickly and we get to Friday in a jiffy!
