Arccos Launch Monitor Data Input

Is anyone else having issue inputting launch monitor data into the Arccos iOS app? I've tried on numerous clubs, and it will let me enter the carry distance then the app freezes. I can restart the app and the data doesn't seem to save. I am having the issue on an iPhone 14 Pro and having iOS 17.

Have you flagged the issue with Arccos?  Their email based App problem solving is pretty good.

I reached out to them and they told me to delete and reinstall the app. I did that and it didnt fix the issue. They said that 3 other users have reported the issue too but they need more reports in order to look into it and resolve it. I guess im a bit out of luck and have to just go without that feature. A bit disappointing as I head into the winter in chicago, so was hoping the launch monitor data would able to help the AI to start next season off right.

I have IOS and I just tried the App and it took one data point for my Driver from my GC Quad.  If I have any problems I will let you know.

Was it there after closing and reopening the app? I have iOS as well and have had it where I can enter my monitor and carry distances without it freezing, but then when i close the app it doesnt save.

Interesting.  It’s spinning but not producing my Data.  
I will send a note to Arccos.

App also freezes for me as soon as I click the link to "Add Launch Monitor".

That happens to me often. If you can start a support ticket with Arccos, I'd really appreciate it. Their response to my ticket seemed like they need more people with the problem before they look into it.

I have had this exact issue as well.  Just tried it while tinkering with the app and it looks like they may have fixed it.  What I can’t find though, is information on how to use this feature to begin with.  I’m in an indoor simulator league for the fall and winter and would like to capture data from the Trackman launch monitor there if possible.  Do you have to input every shot manually?

I just tried mine again after a recent app update and i'm still having the same issues as I was previously. As for your indoor league question, I don't think this feature is meant for that. I think your are simply meant to take your average measurements for the stats Arccos has list and enter them. The Arccos caddie AI can then use that info in its calculations and considerations. I may be wrong, but that's how I was understanding this feature.

You’re probably right.  It’s unfortunate because that seems like a half-baked feature, useful for a consistent golfer but maybe not so much for somebody trying to improve.  I guess the main advantage is Arccos has access to your carry data when you need to deal with hazards on the course.  I wish they would at least post an article about it on the support site.

Not officially fix or recognized by Arccos, but I've been able to input LM data here and there for clubs. I try input one data point at a time and then close and reopen the app with spotty success.

I also put in a ticket. Sometimes, the data shows on the club, but often, it doesn't. If I click to add launch monitor data, it just spins. I also asked if they had any best practices. Should I hit ten or twenty balls to get an average? Would also like a little clarity on some of the inputs. Overall I think having the carry distance should be helpful for the ai caddie. Hopefully they can get the app working a little better for this feature.
