I play Maxfli Tour's. My first (selfish) thought was 'will this make Maxfli Tour's more expensive' adding endorsement money? If it does, I'll probably move on to another ball...

I play them too, and that was my first thought as well. I hope it doesn't, but you never know.

I am glad for the "tour validation." Although there will be those that say dumb things like "it's only the LPGA though." Ugh, hate those people.

I tried the first iteration and didn't like them but the newest version graded out pretty well in the ball test so I decided to give them another shot. 

I ended up with 4 dozen. 

They're a great ball and an excellent bang for your buck.

My thought as well.  Probably depends on how successful she is.  Could we see others changing to Maxfli?  Maybe.  Lexi game has been coming around lately, but if she plays as bad as she was, I don't see much effect... he says as he runs out and buys more balls.

Huge for Maxfli and DSG.  I'm happy for Lexi as well as I've long been a fan.  To be really honest, I have no idea who if any other tour level players are gaming Maxfli but do so not via official endorsement.  Regardless, I'm amazed more are not. 

I test the "CG Balanced" version of these, both Tour and Tour X and found them equal to other top shelf tour balls; principally PV1 and PV1x.  It only stands to reason that they would be a great match for many tour and elite amateur players.  But you know, it may work in our favor price wise if they stay under the radar.

I have purchased several boxes of them each time DSG's has offered the special MGS discount.

Ever since I tested these balls I have been playing them. I’m sure you all have noticed that the prices have been going up little by little. 
If it does get press time when she’s playing it, I’m sure the pricing will go up.

Her biggest weakness is putting. Maybe the CG will help her with that.

Per the article I posted it indicates Tour. 

Along with the Maxfli Tour ball that Lexi will be using during the 2024 season, the Tour Series includes the Maxfli Tour-X and Maxfli Tour-S.

I have all three versions. Excited to see her results.

In the article, she said she tested the the Tour, and the Tour S. She liked both, but chose the Tour. Less spin, more distance, lower flight, better results around the green for her. Also, she will be playing the Cobra Darkspeed driver.

Lexi did play better this past weekend.  Not understanding her swing with the "leap" at contact. I think she would be more accurate keeping the feet planted. Surprised her coach doesn't say something to her...

Would you change Justin Thomas’ or Scottie Scheffler?   I they are using the various forces to generate speed and numerous players “leap” off the ground.

I am stating it because she is not exactly accurate with her tee shots, and I think it would help her. I don't care about distance, but she might just play better, and it might help her if she kept her feet on the ground...She can play anyway she wants, it is just my observation.. No need to get excited, this is just conversation.

Agree, it is just conversation.  what you are suggesting is for a player to completely change their golf swing; one that she has had for her entire life.  She is just more pronounced with vertical forces versus the rotational and lateral.   I guess last year when Justin Thomas was struggling you would have advocated that he keep his feet on the ground?

Her foot action doesn't bother me, but the way she gouges her wedges into the ground makes my elbow and shoulder hurt all the way through the TV!

Good for her and DSG.  It's great that Alexi saw past a bias, gave them a try and was happy enough with the performance (and likely the paycheck that went with them) to put them in play.  It shines the light on the emergence of these types of direct to customer products that are impacting the status of golf retail.  

I purchased two dozen of the Tour S with the MGS/DSG promotion last Fall.  It was such a good deal, that I bought another two dozen (in yellow) before the promotion ended.  Once I put them in play, I knew I found a winner so I purchased another six dozen with Black Friday and other deals to pretty much set me up for 2024. 

I have about one dozen of OnCore Elixr and Vero X1, three dozen of Snell MTB Prime and two dozen of Srixon QStar Tour Divides collecting dust as those Maxfli Tour S balls are my go-to ball now.

Well, it would be difficult for her to putt worse. Maybe that’s the marketing strategy: we should see that logo roll past the hole quite often this season.
