Nippon Modus3 130 vs. KBS $-Taper...thoughts?

I am making a move and updating my irons....but I am stuck on the shaft selection.  I am torn between the Modus3 130 and the $-Taper.  I really like the feel on the Modus but I am worried that with my regular miss being left, the softer tip on the Modus could potentially accentuate it further?  My 7 iron swing speed is 90-92 with a 125g/120g shaft (Modus3/$-Taper, respectively), my swing tempo is moderate and my release is pretty much middle, but aggressive through impact.  Anyone have any experience with either shaft and wanting to share your thoughts?  

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
