I would also like put this idea out there. During the golf rounds, we play for points based on a modified Stableford system. Quotas are established based on handicaps. Let's say my quota is 28. That means that I have to shoot 80 or better to get my quota. Let's also say that someone's quota is 6, I will call them YZ. That would mean that (depending on the point system we use) if I shoot a 79, I earn 29 points and am +1 for the day. And say that YZ shoots a 100 and earns 8 points, they are +2 for the day. We can set it up where only positive number are counted or how ever we want to do it.

 

This may be good or bad, it would make the focus of the trip more competitive but then that may or may not be what we want. This is just a thought.

Points would be better that score if we build a system that's 100% equal. If someone like Nidine had a stellar whole she could make up huge points

Let's just not lose track of the big picture here. This is a community get together. I believe it more important to me and hang out with the mgs members and we'll keep it light and fun around it. We can add point systems for scoring to inject some competitive fun but to involve MGS members to vote and interact is going to be a huge deal.

That is true, but the whole truth is that is all I can do is look into pants that size, I damned sure will not fit into them. I am more likely to be confused with Angel Cabara than Adam Scott.
