Welcome to this forum. Great bunch of folks on here. pretty tame bunch you will not get flamed on here. Where are you in the upstate? I lived in Rock Hill and Gaffney for a number of years until we decided to move to the beach 13 years ago

I live between Greenville and Clemson; play a lot of golf in Seneca, as my boss lives out there.  Also love the Walker Course at Clemson!

Good deal I never played over that way any. I did play at Peachtree Valley in Spartanburg some. Someone told me that course is now closed. I did play at Cherokee National CC in Gaffney some loved the course but did not care for the members. Since I am origionally from Charlotte and was only 50 miles away I still played up there quite a bit

I am in the same boat as you. Welcome to a fellow newbie! I was born and raised in Manning. Never played any golf in the upstate though. Need to check out some places next time we are home. I usually spend most of my time between Columbia and Charleston but have a lot of friends in the upstate.
