I waited for amazon prime day and noticed the Ask Echo T-Lock 2024 bag dropped in price considerably so I pulled the trigger. Super cool bag and love all the pockets and little features... here are just a few of the ones I really was looking for:

1. Individual quiet slots for all clubs so they don't bang into each other. Also really quiet now and no more clanging on the course.
2. Tons of pockets for everything needed including 2 of the dry/valuables pockets which is one of the main reasons I was looking at these bags.
3. Large cooler pocket; can fit up to 8 12 oz cans.
4. Lift up front pocket so the cart strap doesn't restrict access to anything (I didn't realize how great this feature was going to be until using it recently). 
5. Great construction and the fabric is not thin or cheap feeling. This will definitely last longer than my last TaylorMade bag.

Looks like they still have the cart straps on the back too. I have an earlier version of the bag.

The only new golf related item(of consequence) that I purchased this year so far is the Caddytek 4-wheel push cart. My old push cart was a Bagboy 3-wheel push cart and I have had it for more than 12 years I think. The Caddytek cart is great, the 4 wheels is super stable, which is great, but the real win is with the bag strap system. Adjustable arms at the top with bungee straps and hooks - way better than the old velcro of the Bagboy I had! Also the adjustable handle height with the snap lid storage, the mesh basket, the phone holder, cup holder, and removable umbrella holder make this a great push cart. For a guy that walks a couple rounds a week, it is a great buy!

My local Golf Galaxy has free GT wood fittings this coming weekend. If others around the country have the same schedule, I'm sure there will be plenty in here shelling out the cash for one.

I was quite surprised that I hit the Tensi Blue so well. I’m wondering what I can trade in to make the cost go down. I’m keeping the BRNR, non negotiable. I do have a Paradym TD that’s on my bad side right now… in fact I put the 425 LST back in the bag because the Paradym and I are at ends. Maybe I head to Denver and GG to get fit…

I don't have a rangefinder, so I can't say how it works. But after reading these words- "without having to range the flag again", it sure seems like you would only have to shoot the flag once per hole.

I picked up a SwingW digital Swingweight scale.  Will use it for my upcoming build, and fixed the SW of my current gamers, which had some shocking outliers.

Good morning,

I went to Golf Galaxy over the weekend and purchased a L.A.B. Mezz 1 putter. Wow! I was very impressed with my putting on Sunday. I am not a good putter, but this thing goes exactly where you hit it!

I hit an Ai-One for the first time last night at Golf Town.

I'm usually under the impression that the White Hot insert will always feel the same between putters. 

This did have the buttery bounce that I love from Odyssey's, but the Ai-One had a deep, thuddy, but still buttery feel.

The impact felt heavy and sticky like honey, but springy like a rubber ball, if you can make that make sense..

Needless to say, I was impressed.

2024 Scotty Phantom X 5.5 came home with me recently. There is nothing like the feel and distance control. The "poor man's" Scotty that I was gaming (Cleveland HB Premier 11) looks similar but isn't close in quality......or at least that's what my placebo-effect brain thinks hahaha.

Golfing sunglasses have arrived! Not sure when we'll have some sunshine at the Casa to try them out; the assorted nastiness is drifting up from Florida and South Carolina. But the prescription is perfect! Next test will be if they make any difference with green reading.

Ok. So I need to amend this statement. About 6 weeks ago I purchased an all black (DLC finish with black paint) Scotty Cameron NP 2.5+ and an all black BGT Stability tour black shaft to build an all black putter setup that matched my T100 black irons and all black SM9 wedges. Figured, I have a theme here, why not complete the look. Put on the grip from the SC limited Jet Set putter and have been gaming it since. Just dont tell any of my Cameron purest friends that I took a perfectly fine putter and modded it. Previously I was playing an all original NP 2.5+ and really liked it. Other than the look, the putting has continued to be the same as before, About 25 putts per round typically. Considering it is the same as my original putter I guess I didn't think of it as a purchase of consequence. At any rate here are some pics of how it turned out.

@TJ Hall thanks, yeah I have a bit of a Cameron head cover collection. Just about every round the Scotty has a new cover. I rotate through a handful regularly but all of them have been gamed at one time or another.
