I am really curious to know what you think of that LAB putter. I have a DF 2.1 and I have never putted better and I love how unique the LAB putters look.

It is interesting... overwhelming reviews on the 2.1 (including from myself) are favorable.  I'm not sure I can say that for any other putter model I have researched.. something to that!!  Which makes equally interested in the new Link.1.  (At least I wouldn't get as many sideways looks and giggles from my playing partners... until I drain putt after putt of course... it always seems their opinion changes by the end of the round ).

Didn't buy anything today. Went into PXG and got some adjustments done on my irons, so all good there. Not surprisingly, they swapped out the ProV1's for the new PXG ball in the fitting bays. Feels good just from hitting it but didn't grab a dozen while I was there. If I had stuck around I probably would have grabbed some to try. I rushed out a bit to pop in for a work meeting over Teams while I drove to the airport for my 3:30 flight. Not that it mattered much since my flight is currently delayed until 7:30. I did snag a hybrid headcover from Disney while I was in the area last weekend though.

Had an old SLDR fairway shaft sitting around since a shaft swap a few years back and always kept a look out on Marketplace, etc.

Finally found a 15 degree SLDR head in very good condition.

Been playing 3-wood roulette the past couple years (kept a 4W or 5W rotation) - so an inexpensive option was nice. Gripped it up earlier tonight so it's ready to go. A little smaller profile than the recent ones I've played but looking forward to see how it goes!

Also in the process of gripping up my set for the year on this cold winter weekend, Had purchased a set of lamkin Crossline Midsize grips before Christmas - but waited until I got the golf blues to spend some time working on the clubs.

Traded all of my old wedges in and it was enough to cover a used 2 iron (the head ive been searching for) at a good enough price that left me enough to pay for a new shaft and install. Build should be finished in a week or two

Only rolled a few putts on the practice green so far (custom ordered, just showed up this week), so obviously need more time and better weather to know for sure, but early signs are very positive. I picked up a Mezz XL off of their outlet last year and putting improved significantly with that in the bag - my hope is that this performs just as well, but with a better look.

Feels light, which historically has not been my preference, but at the same time, it feels nice. Can't tell much about distance control on the 18ft artificial green, but it rolls nice off the face and feels really easy to roll it straight (which is their goal - I'd say they're succeeding).

PIcked up a new pair of shoes the other day. Footjoy somethings... they are grey fabric typic with no spikes. Super comfortable and I don't think have any water proofness. They were on the cheap end which was what I was looking for. 

First round of the season will be tomorrow and we will see how they do!

Those sound like the FJ Flex. I have those and love them.  For the price, they are very comfortable, but not waterproof.

Random trip to the golf store and I stumbled upon this little beauty! A Yes Callie in really decent shape with headcover...for $50, boys. C'mon!

My wife and I got out to run some errands and hit up an antique store and the local ReStore. I like looking to see if there are any old clubs at the latter and the pickings were slim. I did find a Tour Model II Medicus type club that I picked up for $2.

I remember these things from the 90's, one of the guys I used to work with was a fellow golf addict and he had one. I just want to see if I can hit it. It's a 5 iron, so probably not.

Ahhh the Medicus. I have one of their drivers. Never tried to hit a real ball with it. Just used it for proper technique. It is amazing how it shows you your swing faults in seconds.

I tend to sometimes take the club back on the inside and sometimes get a little fast on the takeaway, so I think it'll help a little in those areas.

On a side note, when I handed it to the cashier I held it out and had it break down. She asked if it was broken and I told her that's what I saw when it was in the bucket and that it was a training aid and I can't resist them.

eBay bidding on several Callaway low spin 9 degree drivers for the Otto Phlex experiment.  And a PXG driver head.  In the drumming world, it’s called GAS:  Gear Acquisition Syndrome.  Got it bad.

Learned to play on a set of those that were my Dad's.

I bought a tripod/selfie stick. The reason for this purchase is I also bought some online golf lesson. trying to video my swing and propping my PH on my golf bag was a HUGE PITA. $15 and should be set for the next video. 

Hey @JFish350- what tripod did you purchase and how is it holding up since August? Looking to buy one as well so any recommendations are welcome!
