So, instead of just asking about games in general, who is going to get/play Rory McIlroys PGA Tour '15?

 

Yes, I will be picking it up the day of its release. Yes I have put down some money to reserve my copy a the local Gamestop. 

 

So without getting into any griping about EA sports or other political issues, Are you going to play?

 

Are you going to buy it?

 

Are you excited?

I am a fairly avid gamer, and have been for over 30 years.   (Shhhhh.... Don't tell anyone how old I am).

 

For me, I just don't like sports games.  Never been a fan of the golf games, the Hockey, the FIBA, and even the Madden. 

 

I personally prefer FPS....  On PS4.

So yes, I will be getting it. Since it is an EA game, I am wondering if XBox One users can play with/against PS4 users. 

 

Will be setting up a Country Club if that feature is still in the game. Good place for some weekly tournaments. 

 

Hula - played Destiny for 6 months solid. Loved it. 

 

MmmmmmmmBuddy - All about Ghosts, Advanced Warfare and Black Ops.

I was going to until they announced the fantasy courses. I don't need a battleship on a golf course.

 

If they had a lot of real life courses, I'd be more interested. I'm currently waiting for the reviews to come out.

I'm also a gamer... started with RTS such as SC, WC... then evolved to FPS such as CS, BF, COD... played WoW for 4 looong years and now just play some Dota 2, D3 and some single player games. As you can see, mostly PC games.

 

I like sports games on consoles (FIFA, NBA, Proevolution Soccer) and the last golf game I played was about 10 years ago when it was Tiger on the cover.

As far as I know Xbox Live and PSN players cannot play each other.  Made the switch to PS4 since most of my friends had the system with Madden.

Yeah definitely I am gone buy this but honestly speaking I like to play golf in real and in video games its just for fun.......

I've been waiting quite a while for that game to come out. I have loved all the games in the series. I guess it makes up for the disappointment of a crappy round when I can just boot it up and crush Bethpage Black with my custom made dude.

I agree entirely. 

 

I am always playing a few rounds at Bethpage or Augusta when had a bad real round on...... well anywhere. Also, my electronic golfer can always afford the newest gear.

I like Call of Duty, but definitely not a gamer- video games are so difficult nowadays, I can't dedicate enough time to learn the buttons. They sure have come a long way!

Funny how I was able to control dozens of units simultaneously, press dozens of buttons and clicks within 5 seconds, but can't swing a club to save my life. That's destiny! LOL

Yep, I'm a self confessed 56 year old gamer nut who loved all the golfing games that came out.  Does anyone remember "Links 386" for PC.  I wasted a glorious amount of time playing that game and still use quotes from the voice overs such as "Crushed that one", "That's on the short stuff", or "Your dancing!" when I'm playing real golf.  Tiger Woods 200? whatever was a great game and I loved the Masters edition so am looking forward to the changing of the guard and playing Rory's game, bring it on, bring it on!

I agree mizuno_lover. Cant wait for it to come out. Went ahead and preordered it even though Augusta will not be on it due to a licensing issue. 

 

But until then, I will still be playing the hell out of my Masters Edition '14. If any of you are on the xBox systems, hit me up and I will shoot yo my gamer tag and we can play a few rounds.

My complain is why EA don't make the Pc version of that game???   I'm no gamer (not a serious one at least LOL) and I use my PC daily for serious jobs (digital editing).   My PC hardware are up to date for the latest games (FarCry 4, Crysis 3, NBA 2K15).

 

I hope somebody else (like 2K) want to make a PGA Tour game for the PC platform.  with awesome graphics like their NBA 2K15.

I was playing games when King Quest was still around (the 90s).  We had no mouse so everything must be typed on the keyboard including the movement.  Imagine that!!

Funny, first time I played tiger woods 08 when it was probably 2010 on the third hole I had an ace and still shot 80 something. I think I've had 3-4 aces in the years since. I don't quite get the same rush as playing on an acutual course.

Whilst I have some ones attention possibly reading this how do I do a quote.  I've tried near on everything but no success and yes that includes pressing the quote buttons before, after, during, simultaneously while typing, whilst standing, sitting everything.  Thanks for your help.
