Cleveland7ironshaftbroke.mp4 Nice job "Old Man"! I had something similar happen about 15 years ago with my LW, but it broke right at the bottom of the grip. I had been on a week-long trip to Myrtle Beach; it rained every day, and we played 10 courses in 6 days. I brought my bag into the condo every night to try and dry things out. At home two weeks later I hit my LW for an approach, and all I was holding onto was the grip. The break was clean, but rust was evident. I reshafted all the irons. Popular Post Jmikecpa
Thanks for the kind words, it has been a tough few days. My buddy’s family came into VA today and are starting to get why they need to do done. I got a request from them in that they wanted to know if I could take the dog permanently. They have a lot going on between this and some other issues back at home and can’t care for him. One call to my wife and she said absolutely bring him home and we will figure it out from there. So meet my new buddy Sebastian…. He is a 3 year old St. Bernard and the sweetest boy you could ever want. Obviously hate the circumstances that led to this but my buddy loved this guy and he deserves a good home. My initial decision to take him was based on either he comes with me or goes to a shelter which was not going to happen. He and I are taking a road trip north tomorrow so that he can see his new home and get adjusted. tony@CIC, GolfSpy SAM, tommc23 and 16 others 11 8 Quote WITB 2024 Driver: Qi10 LS 9* Ltd. Bobbers
Just found out we have a PGA Super Store opening here in the Milwaukee area next weekend. Up to now we've had a Golf Galaxy; the smaller shops were more or less driven out of business. I think I'm happy to see them arrive, GG has been pretty low across the board on a LOT of inventory (grips, etc.) and the level of customer service has been getting lower by the day. Based on your actual experience, how would you characterize/summarize the difference between the two operations? What should I look forward to? The biggest differences are size and inventory. The PGASS here in Sarasota is about the size and scale of a Walmart and had tons of club and accessory inventory. They also have several hitting bays you can rent out (by 1/2 hr?). The only presence they've had here up to now is a small place located in the airport concourse if you can believe it. Maybe 1,000 square feet and essentially all clothes. I have to assume it might be difficult to take golf clubs through security when boarding a plane. And despite our weather, Wisconsin in general and the Milwaukee area in particular, have a really high per capita golfing population. sirchunksalot and cksurfdude 2 Quote Ping G430 Max 10.5* Ping G430 SFT 3 wood and Ping G430 HL 7 wood SR flex Ping G430 4,5,6,7 hybrids SR flex Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 8,9,P,G, SW irons A Flex Cleveland Smart Sole S wedge A Flex Cobra Nova putter

I used to live near a PGA Superstore and worked near another. I would stop in either store from time to time. The PGASS had lots of nice stuff and usually lots of it. I’ve never been in a Golf Galaxy, but there is a Dick’s (owners of Golf Galaxy) near where I live now and it’s the only place around to shop for golf stuff. Dick’s has a lot of nice stuff, but not as much volume as the PGASS. To me walking into a PGASS is like walking into the airport. You can get help from the appropriate person at whatever counter you need help from, but you must flag or track them down; it’s impersonal. Staff in the Dick’s where I go are friendly and helpful, regardless of the department and usually track me down and ask if I need help. As in cuckoo. I'll be interested to see if there's any difference at PGA once it's up and running AND to see if some serious competition does anything to improve the customer service level at the Golf Galaxy which is literally two traffic lights away on the same thoroughfare. hohjoe, sirchunksalot, BIG STU and 1 other 4 Quote Ping G430 Max 10.5* Ping G430 SFT 3 wood and Ping G430 HL 7 wood SR flex Ping G430 4,5,6,7 hybrids SR flex Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 8,9,P,G, SW irons A Flex Cleveland Smart Sole S wedge A Flex Cobra Nova putter

Staff in the Dick’s where I go are friendly and helpful, regardless of the department and usually track me down and ask if I need help. If the PGA Superstore and Dick’s were side-by-side I would go to Dick’s first. Like anything else it's about management. I have the opposite experience with Golf Galaxy/DIck's and PGASS. The PGASS here in Sarasota has very helpful staff regardless of the department you're in - they'll direct you to the right place or person. What I didn't like about them was the fitting experience. But having been fit at both a Club Champion and an independent fitter, it's probably unfair to put them in the same category. cksurfdude, sirchunksalot, hohjoe and 1 other 4 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300

Would agree with that last statement - PGATSS best imho for looking at new stuff and trial hitting on your own. If it's the only option in your area, fine .. but be aware they've been known to "juice" the LM when swinging a new club vs your current.... And yeah service can be hit or miss depending on who happens to be there on the day you walk in. tony@CIC, sirchunksalot and Bobbers 3 Quote WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ... Hope you get that straightened out before testing starts... bring your "A" swing!! cksurfdude, cnosil, tony@CIC and 1 other 4 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
