ballplayer002003
So here in Delaware, they determined that our golf courses can stay open as long as they follow a few simple rules: 1. The clubhouses are all shut down as to deter groups meeting up 2. Cups should be raised 3. Walking is highly encouraged but not necessary however if in a cart, it is now 1 cart per person unless you live in the same household. What is it like where you all are? fixyurdivot
We are back to all (7) in the area open for play. The one course that had shut down just reopened yesterday but for walking only and using a "put your $$ in the honor system box". Thus far the others are playing as usual though practice green flags have been removed. fozcycle and MGoBlue100 2 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Official Review) AI-One Milled Seven T CH (Official Review) Link to comment

Live Free Golf MA
Massachusetts is all closed (according to the Gov.) I'm sure a few are staying open. All Non-Essential businesses are shut down until 4/7/20 @ 12:00pm. Rhode Island & Connecticut were open as of this afternoon, but with NY & NJ on the Covid-19 rise I doubt those places will stay open much longer. NH just shut down courses until May 4. My home course, Seabrook G C, is open with a limit of 2 players per group. You fill in and sign your own card, announcing your score to your playing partner after each hole. Competition payment is card only, no cash. We only have a few carts but as most places a limit of 1 person per cart. I just posted this email on the Northeast Ohio thread - guess there was some confusion by the State along with the Golf Courses. From: The Toledo District Golf Association Date: March 30, 2020 To: Members of the TDGA Golfing Community Subject: COVID-19 Update Good Morning from the TDGA, It's been a turbulent week for the golf industry not only in Ohio, but all over the world. As you probably know, on March 28, 2020 the Ohio Health Department mandated that all golf courses close. This message came to us just a day after Dr. Amy Akton indicated that it was OK to play golf. Then on March 29. 2020, the Health Department reversed itself and now says courses may open. If you play, please follow social distancing practices as outlined in the Ohio Stay at Home order. Please do not gather around picnic tables or in the parking lot for post round get togethers. Booking only via online system or phone call. No Club carts available, however, members may use their private carts 1 to a cart except for immediate family members where 2 per cart would be allowed. mcmarsico
My course is still open (near Atlanta, GA), but everything inside the clubhouse has shut down. You can still order take out food, but locker room, bag storage, etc. is understandably closed. Like most, the course is walking only or 1 person per cart. As of a few days ago, that even includes people that live in the same house as you. I was going to go play nine holes with my sons the other day, and we were told that we couldn't ride in a cart together. While that didn't make a lot of since to me, I am very thankful that our course is staying open. My boys are too young to walk nine holes, but we have a short course that we were still able to play on. ballplayer002003 1 Quote Driver: TS3, 9* (C1 setting, surefit cartridge in fade setting) 3/4 Wood: 917D2, 16.5 degrees (D1 setting, surefit cartridge neutral) Hybrid: Titleist 818 H2, 19 degrees (C3 setting, surefit cartridge neutral) Irons: Mizuno MP-18 MMC Fli-Hi 4-Iron (23 degrees); Mizuno MP-18 SC 5-iron(26) and 6-iron(30); Mizuno MP-18 7-iron(34), 8-iron(38), 9-iron(42), and P Wedge(46).
