That playoff was crazy. I thought each guy was going to win at some point. That 50' from JT was crazy couldn't believe Collin was able to follow it up.

Great win for Colin - especially against the likes of JT.  That will provide him even more confidence in the future.

Update: Just seeing the highlights on the playoff.  What a bad break off the tee for JT... yuck.  If that ball stops a couple feet shorter, he can go for the green.  It is indeed a game of inches.

I avoided this thread all day ... and how we were robbed of the galleries’ reaction on 18! Congrats to Morikawa. 👏🏼 JT 3 strokes up with 3 to play ... amazing.

Yeah. Didn't see that coming.  Close misses on 17 and 18 for JT but Morikawa could take advantage of it.

So JT has 13 career wins.  He's only 27.   Only Tiger and Jack reached 13 wins at an earlier age.

But get this.  Did you hear the stat this morning on GC on the 1st or 2nd hole.   Justin has had a 54 hole lead 12 previous times.   He is 0-12 in closing those out.

I find that unbelievable if I heard it correctly.  If he even goes 50% we're talking 18 career wins in what 7 years on tour.   That's crazy.

Now you have to wonder if that will become a thing for him to overcome.

That he did ... he played very well and won it. But man oh man if he had missed that end of the round putt on the 18th, that just about circled 3 qtrs of the cup. 😱

WHAT?! That’s crazy! 0-12??? I had no idea.

What is it about JT that makes him so underrated? Not from his peers and hardcore golf fans ... but amongst the media and the casual fan.

A nice little tidbit I got from the TM staff.

Chsse Seiffert who had a great round today to finish in the top 5 Is a Callaway staffer.

But he changed from the Chrome Soft ball to the TP5 at last week's Rocket Mortage and played it again today, as you might have seen.

He began testing it in March right before the shutdown

Good question. He hits it far, that usually gets you attention.  Even though he's snall, He's not meek, he can show as much fire as anyone.

He's probably Tieist's biggest marketing draw, other than Speith.

I've always liked him. I'm hoping for another Major from him sometime soon.

Ha. That is pretty interesting ... thanks for sharing that. To be fair, if money was not of a concern, I’d buy the TP5s all day. But alas, the Snells are just as great for me.

And, honestly ... I wish more guys would be willing to mix up their bag like Brooks does and me be committed to one brand throughout their entire bag.

On the FSU note, I had no idea that FSU golf produced Berger and Seiffert.

Makes you wonder if some of the staff is still not sold on the CS ball.

I have a few dozen of the TP5 I've always liked it.

Snell is a very good ball regardless of price

I didn't know about FSU either.  When you think of big golf schools it's not one that comes to mind.  But why not. Great location good overall sports program and and I have to think 19 to 20 year old guy that's an athlete would like the scenery 😳

He must have read the MGS ball test results. :)

While not at the same time I was fit for every club in my bag as well as the Pro VI ball. I use the chrome soft x ls on my league course.  It has much softer softer greens than the club that I belong to.

I’m on a mission to shoot my age - lifetime lowest round is 66 and I’m currently 67.
