Bettinardi at Costco?

Just noticed over the weekend that Costco is now selling Bettinardi putters.  Not a bad deal considering these are still listed at $450 at the Betti website.  Anyone planning on getting one and using Costco's great return policy once the honeymoon period wears off?

Very interesting, I just picked up an Evnroll ER2v or I would be tempted.  That return policy is no joke!  "Yes I'd like to return this putter.  Is anything wrong with it?  Yeah, it 3-putts too many greens"

Speaking of Costco, they have the LH version of their putter online. It looks like now that the buzz has drawn down, they're reduced the in-store price to $99. Anser style isn't my thing otherwise I'd want to try it.

Bettinardi doesn't seem happy about Costco selling their putters and based on the response some people aren't happy with their statement

Oh well.  They must not have been selling, so the distributor unloaded them to Costco.  No More Bettinardi for them.

When one is paying the annual dues and fees at Butler National, putters must be sold where ever the $$ can be had.

I was an electronic rep and Sam's had one of our products. I checked the serial number and it was sold by a distributor and he was fired! You just don't violate your agreement without a penalty.

They probably sold out, were up there for the better part of the season and since they don't have a connection to restock them it was always drained to be a one time thing.

This happened with Honma a couple times as well. I almost want to call BS because it KEEPS happening with multiple high-end brands. They're listed on Costco.com, the brand posts some message about distributor malfeasance, and they disappear. But then it happens again. I've seen Bettinardi on Costco.com a half dozen times. I have to think they're just unloading stock and agree to deny everything. Once is one thing, but not several times.

This also happened with Omega watches a couple years ago and it got ugly fast. Looks like Costco is relentless in finding product in any way necessary.

The Bettinardi putters are back on Costco's web site for $329.00.  Looks like a very good deal.

Costco is now selling Evnroll ER2 MidBlade Putters online (members only) for $299.99. Its about a $50 savings from other online retail.
