Popular Post J7Hawkins
Good morning all! I spent yesterday trying to track down someone to come work on our AC unit as our house internal temperature climbed up to about 85°! This morning we’re back to the low 70s in the house and the wife is quite pleased haha. our course is closed today for a ladies tournament so I won’t be able to play today but I’ll try to hit some balls on the range before going to the gym this afternoon. Popular Post EnderinAZ
Good morning spies! Oooo it was hot for the Wild Bunch yesterday. My sensor unit in the shade when I got home had the weather station saying it was 111 with 46% humidity. That much humidity is usually associated with a monsoon. Shot a 4 over 77 yesterday in the three man net game. Simple game add up the gross scores, subtract total handicap (in our case 6, 7, and 16 for 29) and that is your net score. Our total was 233 and we missed matching the first place team by a stroke. The frustrating part was our 16 handicapper gave up after 3 doubles to start the game. We couldn't get him back into the game. He just moped and slapped the ball around. He took a 9 on the last hole because he didn't care. Because he was not having fun he punished the other two players. I hate when guys do that. It costs us 20 bucks to get into the game and net skins. Someone who quits like that not only throws his money away, he does it for the team as well. Ce La Vie. Twins are in town to play the Diamondbacks and are playing much better than the Diamondbacks. I grew up in Minnesota so whoever wins tonight I will have a good game to watch at Chase Field. Popular Post Shrek74
Good morning, Spies!! Happy Tuesday!! Beautiful morning here with lots of sunshine in store for the day. As I sit inside in my office. Not much on the docket today besides work. Hopefully my new hitting net arrives in the next day or so. I'd really like to get it set up and see how well it works. With Hayes' article about online coaching, I'd really like to give it a go with a couple coaches on Skillest that offer free evaluations. But I can't do that without my setup in the garage to allow me to set up a couple cameras to record my swing in a more controlled environment. I got completely drenched on my walk into the office this morning. I found it funny that the Testing Review Recap that was posted on the main site was for Galway Bay rain gear! We've been stuck at home for the past several days because of various levels of sick kids and now it's looking like my wife is getting the same bug. I had two tee times that I've had to cancel and my golf has been limited to putting and chipping around the house when the kids are napping. Have a good day everyone! Popular Post Jim Shaw
Good morning spy's Today is the final day of the "Lawrie Kerr" senior interclub competition in Zone 5. Olympic View (my course) played against Gorge Vale in one of the matches, there are lots of scenarios to be played out however in a nutshell gorge is one point ahead of us to stay in the "A" division, at the end of the day we probably need 4 out of 6 or 41/2 out of 6 to stay in the "A" division, which would be a good goal for us... Anyway we play it out it will be a fun day at Gorge and a little competition is always good... Popular Post rgcarey2004
Good morning, just picked up these Hogan Apex 2's (3-E) and had a few questions. They have never been hit and look like they came right out of the box. I found that they were the last year of the Apex 2's. White cameo being from 1979-1982 and black is 1983. My questions are how to decipher the serial number on the ferrule, was the vector shafts less desirable than the popular Apex shafts, how to determine the stiffness of the Vector shafts there are no letters or numbers on the gold label, and the value of these clubs. I also have the staff bag. Thanks for your input.... sirchunksalot, EasyPutter, Cfhandyman and 10 others 7 1

Those of you not aware, my draw turned into a fade at the start of this season. This past week it turned back into a draw and yielded terrible results. I am thinking if I train specifically today and hit the range during lunch tomorrow, my fade will return. Thus, helping out my game. I prefer the fade for its control. I believe my draw returned because I was on travel 3-weeks prior to the league round and limiting my regimen. Here’s to hoping I can get back on track. Enjoy your day fellas! After a solid workout and range session, it seems I am correct. My skipping 3-weeks while away on trips is what the issue was. I do a cable rotation to work the obliques and strengthen my twisting motion. In the past, I have had back issues from the twisting motion itself. I believe, skipping that portion of the workout for those vacation’s left me out of whack. Today, my range session had a lot less issues than last week. Anyway, please check out this post from my free deal entry thread. It ends soon. sirchunksalot, Byrnzee, cksurfdude and 5 others 8 Quote - TK

FIL got a call from his oncologist last night and said that the PET scan from last week is showing some pretty rapid worsening of his condition. His insurance is being slow about approving and scheduling the second biopsy that was requested, so his oncologist said to come and be admitted to the hospital today and he would force the tests to be done. Popular Post CSiders12
Good morning spies! An early morning tee time right into work this morning. I've got a busy week with grad school, but I'm able to squeeze in quite a bit of golf. I'm hoping to play quickly this morning, but focus on all of my routines. I've gotten lazy and not done my full routine which has cost me some shots. Who knows, maybe I can go out and get a PR. I hope everyone else has a wonderful Wednesday! Cheers! Some more work on the room should be done today getting us one step closer to the rooms being split up. Should be a warm sunny day so maybe some swimming to close out the day. @RichL85 sorry to hear about your FIL Have a great day everyone! rkj427, EnderinAZ, ZJeb67 and 15 others 18 Quote Epic Max LS 9° Ventus Blue 6X (2021 Official Review) | Epic Speed 18° Evenflow Riptide 70g 6.0 816 H1 21° Diamana S+ Blue 70 S | SMS 4-5/SMS Pro 6-PW Steelfiber i95 S (2023 Official Review) Glide 4.0 50°.12°S/54°.14°W/58°.6°T PING Z-Z115 Wedge Flex | SOFT 11S Super Stroke Mid-Slim 2.0 Hoofer Bag | Pro V1 | Right Handed | Tracked by V3
Popular Post Byrnzee
Good morning spies! Had a great time last night meeting up with an old friend from high school who was in town for work. We went to a favorite Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood and indulged in a few margaritas. Always fun to see old friends and catch up. I decided yesterday that I wanted to get my irons regripped before my Erin Hills trip this weekend. PGA Tour Superstore had a promotion last month where if you bought more than 6 grips, the labor charge was free. Even though the promo was over now, I was able to talk my way into free labor for the new grips. Pretty excited to put them in use this weekend. I went with the Lamkin 360 Crossline Grey, which is the same as I have on my new wedges. Not much on the agenda today other than continuing to do some research on Erin Hills. Lots of good YouTube content out there to help me prepare (odds are I'll still end up in the fescue though). I also read a very interesting article about the history of the course, in case anyone is interested. Booked a simulator session tomorrow evening for some practice with the new grips. Hope everyone has a great day! Popular Post Wheelieb
Morning All, Today is back to work, probably should have taken an extra day since I slept great last night but woke up still tired. That will happen when you only get 4 hours of sleep the night before. No golf again for me today, I have to catch up with what needs to be done that was sent to me while I was on Leave. It's not going to be a super long day today as I will not allow that to happen. Hope everyone has a great day. cksurfdude, Cfhandyman, rkj427 and 14 others 17 Quote Callaway Paradym AI Smoke Max 9* with Tensei AV Blue 55 PXG 5 and 7 woods with Mitsubishi Diamana Shafts Mizuno Pro 225 5-GW with Dynamic Gold S300 shafts Taylormade Hi-Toe 54 and 58 degree wedges Ping Prime Tyne
