The Good Morning Thread

Good morning Spies!

An interesting day ahead.  FABWIFE and I are getting 3 vax shots at noon, and betting we feel like crap by 2:30.   So planning an uneventful afternoon and evening of doing nothing but some paperwork and holding down the couch.

Good morning! My day started at 130 with my 6 YO spreading barf from his bed past the bathroom, down the hallway and into the kitchen. It was awesome. There's nothing quite like stepping in and cleaning odiferous sickness out of carpet deep in the throes of an abrupt wakeup. He was supposed to be wrestling this morning, but instead will be spending the day with clear fluids and crackers. I'm three cups of coffee in and moving laundry. We'll see how he is feeling early this afternoon, as my driver/FW fitting was scheduled for 2. Fingers crossed no more barf and hoping I can keep my time today!

I finally fired up my two stage last night for the first time this year. We're in the 2"-6" range, but starting out as rain. Might have to take my net down so I don't have to chip and scrape my truck off.

Sorry to read that you feel under the weather @ParFore74x, for me, today is the first morning since last Thursday that I feel somewhat better. Spent most of yesterday staying warm and rested doing not much of anything.

Plans for me today are to start my Stack System baseline, will make sure I am feeling 100% to do so, and watch the Detroit Lions game this afternoon.

Hope that something enjoyable is in your plans, and that you make your day the best it can be. 

Good luck with your Stack training. I’m doing my second session post baseline.

Good morning Spies,

Woke up to a winter wonderland in CNY. 6 plus inches of snow and it’s still coming down. My morning cuppa is tasting extra good. I grew up in the Bay Area. The first big snow of the season always brings a smile. Now I’m off to clear 90 feet of driveway.

Good morning all and happy Sunday! Going on a little afternoon date with my wife today then Packers play the Bears at 3:25pm. Win and in the playoffs! I know @chisag & @cnosil are hoping the Bears play spoiler, we will see what happens!

Good morning! A little snowfall last night and this morning made the back roads icy on the way to church this morning. Made it there fine though and I didn’t see any cars off the road, which was good. 

Today should be pretty relaxing. Nothing too major on the agenda except for house cores.

You are correct @cnosil. We changed our minds to get only two - and then a scheduling snafu means we got none.  
 

EDIT:  FABWIFE got us another appointment for all three.  Fingers crossed.   This is a dread rollercoaster.  lol.

Seems like something is going around as I've been stuffed up all weekend. Hoping that goes away soon.

Pretty low-key day ahead, awaiting the big Bills game this evening. My new bag arrived yesterday! Going to be unboxing that today. Will likely post pictures/videos at some point this upcoming week.

Good morning all. Well it is cold, windy and spitting rain this morning. Mesa ALWAYS needs the rain. So into the garage I went this morning and added a behind the front seat basket to my golf cart. The cart has an extra rear facing seat so no basket to toss in things and stuff, like a jacket or found golf ball, or an empty water bottle. We bought a little chest freezer when we moved into the new house in April and I immediately pulled the basket that was in it out. Put it in a bin on a shelf thinking I can probably use the basket on something sometime. So it fits perfectly

Good Sunday morning my friends…. Faced with the lesser of two evils today. “ Those people “ want me to go to a location where the work effort and productivity this last week has been a little lacking. At the same time; the female  CEO/CFO of the family, wants to take me down the rabbit hole of “ Female Fantastic Fairytale Theoretical Family Financial Math “ which has NOTHING to do with math and everything to do with FANTASY….   
 I will be loading up to leave for work as soon as I send this.  
   Today would have been the last decent golf weather day for awhile.. But the prospect of having to sit through the female leader’s TED talk on “ Make-believe Money Matters “ would have diluted any joy I might have had in attempting to find my elusive golf game. 
  Hopefully by the time I get home a number of positive things will have happened.. My golf game will have returned from wherever the heck it had been galavanting.  On the topic of galavanting,  maybe the Titleist irons will have stopped long enough in their journey to send a text, e-mail,  or postcard on the progress of their getting to Texas. While a foolish hope, I am still hoping that they  might be waiting on me when I get home. Finally, hoping that the family’s financial fortunes are no longer the center of the “Girl God’s” theoretical sketchy science. 
    May this Sunday bring you enough joy, satisfaction, and the energy to face the coming week.

Good morning everyone! Wouldn't you know it, the sun is finally shining, looks like a great day for practice and the boss has decided that it is going to be an indoor activity day...  Maybe if I pester her enough, she'll make me go to my room or better yet go outside and play...

Hey you upstate and New England dudes -- you and your kids seem to be very happy with that white flaky stuff that falls outta the sky and covers everything .. so couldn't you just keep it up there? Plz?? Pretty please??

Little late getting on today , started cool here in central Florida but sun is out and it’s middle 60’s , so I did get 9 holes in and then great lunch with wife and friends, so a good day all in all

Almost 1/3 of the way through the final regular season games today.   Hoping for a Commaders loss to see if they can do one thing right this year by getting the No. 2,draft pick.

Good Morning 

Spent Friday afternoon with Kelly and my 2 "Bigs" (oldest grand daughters) At patriot place. Sprang them fro school at noon,  Had Froyo,  bowled at splittsville, had Habachi with Patriots L guard and his family (thank you Antonio Mafi  for buying) swam, played games and stayed overnight at the Hilton. Off to breakfast. The Bigs coment  "this is the best day EVER" was PRICELESS.

can't wait to go bith 2 of my 3 boys to tomorrow's game and give a nice farewell to Bill

Got one contract out and waiting on a response. One showing was a bust but the search continues and the wife ended up having a showing and will be going back to it tomorrow with her clients. 

Which also means, no golf was played today. 

We did pick up the wife's 4 wheeler from when she was a kid and I'm going to rebuild it with my son.  1986 Honda 70.  We tore it down and the plan is to paint frame white, maybe some bronze wheels and original Honda red body. Going to be a fun build and looking forward to teaching him and getting his hands dirty.

Well I was a bit nervous in the 2nd quarter.   But as usual futility preserved.   
 

Both our teams got what we wanted and the Eagles got stomped.   A good day I’d say!
