Good Morning Spies!

Happy Monday! Weather here is starting to break and today is in the 60s! Supposed to drop back into 50s next week but will take what I can get with sun .

Hoping to get to the range today. Saw a LOT of golfers on the courses around yesterday. You can always tell when people are done with winter when: a. You start seeing motorcycles on the road with people wearing parkas, b. Golf courses are stacked up. Saw plenty of both yesterday.

Not ready to get the moto out yet, as I know it will be hit or miss for a few more weeks before I can ride comfortably.

Excited to see the results of the Maxfli ball testing by our fellow spies. I have played Maxfli for a long time and love them. Not sure about the new “Max align” printing but we will see how they like it.

Make it a great week! Get out and get some sun, even if it is just to take a walk.

Good morning, Spies!! Happy Monday to you all!

The weekend was way too short for me this time around. Just don't feel I was able to fully recharge from the week. Hopefully I don't implode mid-week.

Going to start working on the laundry room upgrade this week with dad. Picked up the cabinets yesterday and cleared out the room, minus the W/D and floor cleaners. So we'll start removing the trim around the room and start pre-fitting the cabinets so we know what all additional trim will need to be cut away to fit them in place. Excited to get this done so I'll have more storage space for all the stuff that's sitting in boxes still. Plus, the 2 cabinets we'll remove will get retasked to become my golf club work space, after I screw them back-to-back and put casters and a wood top on them.

With the weather getting warmer (and sadly a week full of rain ahead), it feels like golf season is getting close. I have my first swing lesson this year on Thursday, then 2 more 3 weeks after each. Hopefully come late April / early May my swing will be in better shape for fittings and the new season.

Good morning to ya spies!

Hope the Mondays don't hit you too hard today! I will be practicing range resistance as I will finally do what I promised the Fiance I would do, and take her to see Dune: Part Two (almost 3 hours. Do they sell coffee at the theaters?) and then afterwards I begin my final week of Linux Shell Scripting class (I hate that Linux penguin).

Also, cautiously optimistic about my first lesson this upcoming Sunday. From all reports, the instructor is great, but we shall wait to see if we gel.

Good morning golfers!

I hope everyone got some sort of golfing activity in this past weekend. Myself, I got a nice wolf game in Satuday. Was the low man on the day. So it felt good to beat my friends! haha! Sunday was able to get in a 9 hole practice session. As I am preparing for our beginning of the year match play tournament, these days are beneficial. Been struggling with putter lately, but its finally heating up. Finished the weekend with a deacon ordination ceremony for a close golf friend! 

Get out and golf! Build those relationships!!

Had a beautiful weather weekend here in NWA, but it was windy.  But anytime you can wear shorts in the beginning of March is nice.  It did allow me to hit some balls both days.  Hopefully this afternoon too before the rains move in.

Good morning all! Busy work day today with meetings this afternoon I'm prepping for. Hoping I will get a chance to hit the gym after my last meeting and then do some practice putting in the garage on the putting mat before our evening plans.

Stuck at work updating spreadsheets on a day where it’s 74*! I did snag some beater irons 7-P at goodwill to leave here and hit on my lunch breaks at the range 10 minutes away so not terrible there. Just itching to go hit a bucket or 2 in the nice weather. Hope you all have great days

Good morning spies!

Had a really fun, but busy weekend that has unfortunately come to an end. Was able to play golf yesterday on beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the mid-60s. The course I played was extremely windy (20-30mph) and the greens were aerated and impossible to get realistic rolls on, but we still had a blast. Didn't play too bad either for the first round out.

Weather today is also going to be beautiful, but I will sadly be confined inside with an extremely busy week of work. Temps will be dropping down into the 40s for the rest of this week, so no outside golf planned in the near future.

Yes!!!!!!! Great news, and congrats to the whole family (but especially the one who's done the most work in delivering a new baby: you, the father. Hold please - I'm being told I may have made a factual mistake in what I just reported.  Stay tuned to the end of the broadcast for a proper apology)!

Morning all! Happy Monday! 

  Great, busy weekend - golf on Friday (82, where I was +7 through the final 6 holes, so I'll be focusing on getting some more exercise in during the week so I'm not so gassed by hole 13 every week), movie/pizza night with the fam, Saturday was full of sports and errands and puzzles and videogames (rainy day here in SoCal), and then I worked yesterday and tried to keep the kids happy while my wife was knocked flat by a particularly rough cold.

Reminds me of a muni course I used to play frequently about 30 years ago, with suboptimal maintenance standards; I played there because the price was right ($10 a round, I think). Occasionally leaves would collect in low spots in the middle of the fairway. I swear a couple of times I lost balls that I hit right down the middle that burrowed under some of those leaves. But I can't say too much bad about that course; I broke 90 for the first time there.

I used to live in Basin City! Graduated from Connell. Joined the Air Force in Spokane. I only lived there for a year and a half but my brother lives in Othello and mom in Moses Lake. Small world!
