Popular Post Shrek74
Good morning my fellow golfers-anonymous friends!! You know what day it is, don't you?! Even on a short week, it's THAT day. Chilly morning this morning, but the sun looks to be popping in and out of the clouds. It was a super red sky morning, so not sure what's coming but it likely won't be good. Luckily the Generac was tested yesterday and I should be good should something bad happen to power (at least for a little bit). Everyone have a fantastic Wed-Nes-Day!!! Good morning all, cool here this morning. Most likely a frost delay for the morning shotgun. But, not a cloud in the sky as far as I can see from my driveway so it should be a good afternoon for golf. The Wild Bunch tees off with the afternoon shotgun at 12:30 and we should get done before dark, but that depends oh how much they pack up the course. Plus, now that the holidays are over, the rest of the snow birds will be flocking in. Shrek74 I had a Generac 15kw that I used for power for my shop and as emergency power as well. jbern
Good morning! Today I'm keeping the grind of catching up from a long holiday off of work. It's wild how much still goes on when seemly the entire office is out. About to refill my coffee cup and get back to it! Have a good day everyone! @sirchunksalot - I went to TopGolf last week and it seems to always be a blast! I took my kids and my neice and nephew and they LOVED playing the Angry Birds game. It wasn't for me because I would rather hit to the targets, but I couldn't resist after they jumped and screamed whenever they knocked some stuff over. 1 hour ago, taylorjonasher said: Good morning! I received my last credit card rewards points cards in the mail yesterday and am now weighing what is turning out to be one of the most important decisions I've had to make in the last few months - where do I go spend it to get fitted? I should probably drop this in the "Fitting" forum, but let's be honest, I trust you regular degenerates marginally more. I've swing Titleist TSR2, TSR3 and TM Stealth 2 drivers; FW are also due for an upgrade with the U505 driving iron in the mix as well to replace the top end of my bag. I have a gift card to Austad's (only Midwesterner's will know), but am also considering heading down to the Blue Top Ridge pro shop as I've heard great things about them and they are a Titleist fitting partner. Feel free to weigh in with your opinions if you feel so inclined - or look for this in the Fitting forum in a few hours after it gets bumped. I hear good things about PXG fittings and I saw in an email that they were only $25. That promo might be over, but if you're interested at all in PXG it might be worth a look. I did a PXG fitting over the phone and I was impressed with their knowledge and suggestions based on all the information I was giving them. We talked for probably 20-30 minutes. 2 hours ago, Samuel09152 said: Good morning my friends! I hope yall have a great day! I am gonna hang a tv in my garage for the sim, until i get a projector. My parents who are down the street about 5 miles have been down multiple hours twice already since I moved here, but my dad refuses to get a generator. Not sure why the power is so flaky here as it's a large golfing community here in the central TN plateau and not some super remote location. Plus, we don't get tons of snow or super low temps. PCPs send people to specialists because the specialists have expertise they don't. And because there is and forever more shall be shortages in most specialties, the backup for appointments is ridiculous. Here's an example. I developed anemia in 2022, initial tests were negative, and I was referred to a GI doc to see if I had a bleed somewhere causing the anemia. I saw him (a few months later) and a colonoscopy was scheduled. However, on the morning of the scope, for which I needed a driver to get home, my girlfriend woke up with food poisoning. No driver, thus no scope, and the GI doc was about to retire within 60 days. It would have taken me almost a year to get back in to see the guy who was taking over. So they referred me to another GI clinic where I could get in a little faster. Saw the new doc, and finally got the scope more than a year after the anemia cropped up. It was negative, as I knew it would be; the anemia resolved after I started taking iron supplements. Rob Person, EasyPutter, rkj427 and 5 others 1 7 Quote Obsessed with chasing the dimpled orb. It was cold, but with no wind, it wasn't bad. The fact that our GolfSpies from the North play in even colder temps, I was not backing out! Walked 18 holes, nice morning. Back to work, from home, hot coffee on hand (1st cup of espresso)! Time to put out work fires! All good. Have a Great Day Everyone! Stay warm & Hit'em Straight! @cnosil you are NOT being unreasonable! Don't blame you for being annoyed! How’d you shoot? I didn't listen to that warning, I went flag hunting & bogeyed 18. Shot even par 70. Thanks! RichL85
Inefficiency bothers me so very much. For whatever reason, all of my chemical purchases for my lab have to go through the main office on the other side of the country. Between items being back-ordered, shipping delays, everything being shipped to the main office, just to be repackaged and shipped out here to me, not only is the company paying a small extra fortune in shipping and labor costs, but I'm running into chemicals that I requested 6 months before expiration that will end up expiring before I receive replacements. I just received some sodium hydroxide two weeks ago when my old bottle expired in September. That was requested in April. I got a call from their office on the 29th that basically read me the results on the bottom of the document that was posted in the online chart. I asked questions that couldn’t be answered so,I asked to get an appointment with the doctor that performed the test. The caller also advised I talk to my PCP. I had my yearly physical this morning (that all looked good) and his answer was I needed talk with the specialist. Got a call from the specialist office to set up an appointment and the earliest they can see me is April 15th to discuss the abnormal results of my test. am I being unrealistic on the timeframe? So frustrated! Not being unrealistic at all. Having a debrief with the doctor after the testing should be a normal thing for a patient. Keep calling them and make yourself a priority. sirchunksalot, Rob Person, EasyPutter and 4 others 7 Quote TSi3 10° w/ Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black 65g TS2 15° 3W w/ Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 6.0 70g 818 H1 21° Hybrid w/ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue 70g MP-18 MMC 2 iron w/ KBS Tour C-Taper S 120g JPX 921 HM 5-GW w/ Project X LZ 5.5 115g JB Forged 54° & 58° w/ Project X LZ 6.0 120g EV5.3 Black

Makes me wonder how the people that make those decisions come to their justifications. sirchunksalot, RichL85, cksurfdude and 2 others 5 Quote TSi3 10° w/ Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black 65g TS2 15° 3W w/ Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 6.0 70g 818 H1 21° Hybrid w/ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue 70g MP-18 MMC 2 iron w/ KBS Tour C-Taper S 120g JPX 921 HM 5-GW w/ Project X LZ 5.5 115g JB Forged 54° & 58° w/ Project X LZ 6.0 120g EV5.3 Black
