Showing a condo unit to my client from yesterday after I take my son to school and hopefully writing up a cash offer after the showing. Then it's off to the course to play a round with the Ventus TR Red shaft that I'm giving a try. Daddy duty this afternoon with my daughter while the wife takes our son to the dentist. We are heading to the coast Friday afternoon to do Thanksgiving with the in-laws and all the friends down there so it will be a golfless weekend but I'm looking forward to the time with friends and family. I have been tasked with the turkey frying. Enjoy the day! Busy day today. My wife is off to see a friend that just had her first baby a couple hours away so she will be gone all day. Kids and I will get our work and school done and then we will see where the day takes us, maybe to the playground or on a bit of a hike. Starting off this Thursday with a bagel and some OJ, figured that I should leave the last glass of chocolate milk in the jug for my daughter. 45° with a forecasted 66° and sun today so golf clubs are going to work with me for a hopeful 9 hole walk afterwards. Spent yesterday afternoon tuckpointing the chimney at home. Wasn’t a terrible job but I did run out of mortar so had to send the wife to the store for more. Finished up by cellphone flashlight so I’ll have to take another look at the final side later on to see how it actually looks. The first three sides looked decent. Really want to love this thing but so far it's telling me my 9i averages 70yds, and my SW is the longest club in my bag. Not sure how helpful that will be for my game. Chalking it up to a bad fit for my outdoor net setup/sloped yard, and I'm starting the return process today. Maybe if I ever find the room indoors I'll try an LM again. In a similar vein, I have an appointment this weekend to check out a new indoor golf facility that opened near me: https://www.golftrk.com/ Seems like it could be an awesome place to practice and get lessons, so this could be my alternative as the weather gets crappy. Busy morning, but then I get to enjoy the warmer weather and get out for 9 holes around lunch time. It looks like it's the last day for warm weather in my area for the foreseeable future so I'm happy I get a little golf time in. Yesterday, I was able to play 9 and test the Titleist Test ball vs the Vice Pro. Shot 39 with the Vice Pro and 42 with the Titleist Test balls (I lost one ). After three straight work days of being in the office until 6pm, I am getting out at 12:30 today to get one final round of golf in to put a wrap on the 2023 season. Playing with three other buddies and really looking forward to it, even though its gonna be a windy SOB . the deWiz testers have received their devices and things are starting to get underway! May Thursday be a day of peace and ease for all of my fellow spies. The female leader of the family informed me yesterday that she had me scheduled to see her florist/beekeeper/ grim reaper. So… First thing this morning we were off to see the blood leechers. Next was the exam and scheduling for more tests and a couple of invasive procedures thrown in for good measure. The wife person seemed not overly concerned with my seemingly downward spiral. We're standing on the precipice of the weekend and I'm glad the week is almost over. I have a 9:30 tee time in the morning with some friends and I'm looking forward to getting out on the course. It's going to be fun getting out and enjoying time with them. I was planning on going to DSG and buying more MaxFli Tour balls, but I have to go apply for a lost title on the place we sold. Unfortunately the title place closes early and the golf shop is in a completely different city. I hope all of you have a wonderful start to your weekend!
