@DriverBreaker great review, thanks for posting the details.  

I have one and was thinking along the same lines; it's easy to get lulled into thinking you're good because the numbers are green. However, I too have that extended to flat back to extended backswing like you circled in the graph in your initial post. I haven't found anyone else talking about that. 

Any advice on where to find some information on how to get rid of that extension dip in the backswing and make it more flat/stable like swing option A?

I saw on the Hackmotion website that they started their Black Friday sale today. I pulled the trigger on a core unit for $245.  I'm really looking forward to working on my swing this off season with the Hackmotion unit.

Nice one! I'm still using mine quite regularly, I find that getting the tangible feedback on my swings really helps with my short game, especially shots within 50yards.

Question for those that tested or anyone who has and uses one.

Does this only deal with your wrist or will it also deal with your whole swing? I have a flipping issue as well as a hip rotation issue and am looking for something that can help me track my hands/wrists as well as my body/hips in space during the swing, if there is such a thing.

Not going to do anything to give you data on your hips/body.  Best you could do is correlate when you try to do something with your hips/body, what impact does it have on your wrists?

My Hackmotion device showed up a few days ago and I could not be more pleased with my purchase.  Last year when I went through my iron fitting the video showed a definite flip at impact and the Hackmotion confirms that.  I've only tried a few drills so far but I have had no improvement yet.  My son who is about 2 clubs longer came over last night and was hitting the targets everytime.  Hopefully of I can find the right drill that gets though my thick skull I will be able to compess the ball better and find some extra distance I've been giving away with the flip.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the Hackmotion instead of the ProSendr, especially with the Black Friday discount. I think the app and all the customization possibilities that allows for each golfer to determine their best ranges along with the drills and graphs and all the other techie stuff is a better option and has more long-term potential, especially if I ever want to upgrade to the Pro down the line.

Is there a preferred link to use that gives MGS credit for another customer or whatever?

Does the core version show flexion and extension at address, top of the swing and impact? I think I have a tendency to go into extension before impact so that would be helpful to see.

Yeah, definitely does, clipped this off their site, shows everything the core model can do.

Does this measure the angle at your address (strong or weak) to measure what should be ideal and top and at impact on the swing?  I feel like the Prosendr has only one angle and that can be bad if your grip is weak or strong.

It will measure your wrist angle at all points. It gives you a option to select your grip type which helps guide where the ideal spots should be.

Does the core version do the club face control drills too? I don’t wanna ditch my coach for hack motion but it sounds like for the cost of three lessons it would give me a life time of feedback.

I know there is a feedback form and they ask where ppl heard of it. They have got a lot of sales through is which is great!

I realize that wasn’t really the primary focus of the review team and thoughts on the feature were mixed during the official review period, but do you guys have any new info to share on the short game component? Have any of you attempted to troubleshoot the short game capture issues? How and how often are you utilizing the product?

Also - did anyone else tune in to their webinar series during the 2024 PGA Show? HackMotion usually invites some solid instructors (Adam Young and Tyler Ferrell this year) to discuss how they use the product and it’s always interesting to me. I’ve probably watched David Orr’s trail wrist putting data seminar a half dozen times.

I'll be going through most of it next month as well. We are in the process of moving and things are chaotic to say the least with that going on.

I have played around with putting a bit more, but I still get a ton of accidental captures even on just small practice strokes.

Question for the testers or anyone who has one that's used it regularly.

Are there any drills that you've done to work on wrist and swing motions that didn't require hitting balls? Something that you might do in the living room with a headless shaft or a club but no ball?

I'm not set up in my garage yet with a full hitting area, so I'm wondering if there are any drills I can do in the house without hitting that would be beneficial with my Hackmotion system.
