I've never seen Deadwood so I don't know any of the characters.   Based on my mechanical mindset in golf I think I'll go with Gunslinger

The picture I posted was from Westworld;  that is why I picked him.   I remember seeing the movie as a kid and I happened to catch it on TV today which is how I came up with the idea.

Same! I’ve seen some of it but not all. Definitely will be doing as much binging as can be done with two little kids

... No doubt. Someone would want to do musicals (CFreddie cough!) and I would have to hide in the closet til it was over. I would rather go to the dentist sans Novocain than sit through a musical.

I agree in principle, but Singing in the Rain was a cinematic masterpiece and I will die on that hill.

... I haven't seen it of course but I think some of the older musicals have dance numbers that are people actually dancing. That I can appreciate. It's the playing baseball that turns into a song and dance number while playing baseball  that I find a disservice to both. In fact I love this:

It had Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds in it, so yes… lots of dancing. Probably more dancing than singing in truth. 
 

Oddly enough, not my favorite Gene Kelly role though. That is reserved for the master turn he did in Inherit the Wind, where he neither sang nor danced.

... I miss character/dialog driven films. If I never see another chase scene, unless it is something different or completely unusual, I will be a happy viewer. But great dialog and a riveting story will always be welcome. Nice to know it is still possible today:

Ok, not 24 hours old and I'm already way behind.  Been out of the mainstream since deployment, combat stress has a weird way of surfacing sometimes so I don't tempt it to awaken.  Will look into Deadwood, sounds like a good one.  Until then just consider me to be one of these two fellows.
