A  couple of shots of Buffalo Trace and then some 16 oz Miller Lites to close the deal.....  My wife who is a very good golfer and I witnessed one of her closest friends break 80 for the first time today.   Melanie shot 79 and she has some game.  Many good rounds right around 80 and she finally busted the bubble.   Good for her!

Just picked up a bottle of Redbreast and am enjoying some of that.  It's one of the smoothest whiskies out there.  

Redbreast is a really underrated Irish whiskey.  Good stuff!

It's not bad. If you don't like a tinge of fruit flavor I would steer clear...the pineapple flavor is certainly noticeable. As far as shandys go its a good change of pace.

Just poured me a couple shots of Buffalo Trace over some crushed ice and finished it off with Canada Dry Ale with a good stir.   I call this sissy style however it sure is tasty and smooth this way.

FYI, some of the Irish pubs (who are not lovers of the UK monarchy) use Smithwicks in place of Bass. I've also heard it called a Half & Half when it's something other than Harp.
