My college room mates and I have been celebrating 40 years of friendship throughout the fall and winter this year. There final visit to Florida for the season is this week. We intend to go to a live jazz club that allows cigar smoking.

 

But before we go when has purchased a bottle of Yamazaki 18! I can't wait to give it a try.

It's really good, very smooth. They live in Louisville, so they have access to a lot of different stuff that I can't get just 1.5 hours away in IN.

Let me know what you think of it. I'm not a Pilsner fan, but Southern Tier is one of my favorite breweries.

I liked it a lot and I am not a Pilsner guy either. Very crisp and tasty. It was part of the sampler that I got so I could try a few of their IPAs I haven't had yet. Will let you know what I think of the rest when I get into them.

A few years ago my wife and I went to play Palouse Ridge GC at Washington State University in Pullman, WA.  A great course BTW!!  The food and drink at the bar was wonderful, but when we went back the next time, they had a tournament and the restaurant was closed to the public.  I asked the guy in the pro shop where a good bar/restaurant was nearby.  He told me Birch & Barley on the other side of the campus.  They had great food and lots of great beer.

 

Yesterday, my wife receives a photo from her cousin who went to B&B.  This picture is her cousin's son who ordered a Bloody Mary.  I want one!!!!
