cnosil
I draw a line around the entire ball (I use a 2 1/2" pic elbow) in a unique color like maroon.. The primary purpose of the line was for putting however if I set it up correctly on the tee I can see the ball strike on my driver. FYI the pic elbow at .90 is cheaper than any ball marking product. Could also use a toilet paper tube. Kenny B
I draw a red line through the alignment aid, the another red line perpendicular to the other on one end. Looks like a big red T. The stem of the T points to my intended putting line and I square my putter face to the top of the T. It clearly marks my ball, and it gets my putter aligned correctly. I have to do this to get a square putter face because after I get my putter aligned I look at the hole and not the ball when I putt. I also do the same off the tee. BIG STU
6 dots around the number--Because that is what my old man done and I copied him-- Back when he ran the golf course I always ended up with the higher numbered Titleists because most of the gamblers were so superstitious they would not play higher numbered balls and I could buy them from the lot at pro cost. My old man never played a ball numbered over 2. It never made any difference at all to me then or now I will play any number. I was laughing yesterday thinking of him. I had got hold of some Snell balls and was playing a #99. He would have freaked out. I think a few years ago T-Mag had a deal where you could order any number ball you wished. An old racing buddy of mine who wheels and deals with antiques and estate sales picked up a dozen with #39 on them which was the number I ran on most of my cars. He sent them to me I think I still have them on the top shelf of the closet. kingcscott, tommc23, ole gray and 3 others 6 Quote Driver ---- Callaway Big Bertha Alpha Speeder 565 R flex- 5W TM V-Steel Fubuki 60r--- 7W TM V-Steel UST Pro Force Gold 65R----- 9 W TM V Steel TM MAS stiff---- Irons 2015 TM TP CB Steel Fiber 95 R--- GW Callaway Mack Daddy 2 52* shaft unknown junk pile refugee. STUDque
I normally do not mark my ball because I'm the only one that I know who uses the direct to customer brands Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk That was a nice thing about playing the OnCore ball. Not only was I the only one in the group playing one, but the logo was strong enough to see it from anywhere and it's a certainty that it's mine when looking around in the rough/leaves for it. That being said, I like to mark all my non-OnCore balls with a red dot just to the right of the number. Even though it's simple, I haven't seen anyone do the same so no conflict. I don't putt with the line but using the PVC is a really good idea that hadn't occurred to me. Seems like an easy and inexpensive way to mark a line all the way around the ball.
