Golf Warehouse Liquidators - A Minnesota Tradition!

I hate winter. I really do.  

 

And as I get older, I hate it even more.

 

The Holidays?  Stress.  The snow? Hate shoveling.  The cold? Hate ice fishing. 

 

Obviously, I'm not a native Minnesotan.

 

But there's one thing about winter in Minnesota that makes me smile...

 

 

That right there is the Demo Club Bin at the Golf Warehouse Sale - a pre-Thanksgiving to post-Christmas source of joy and happiness during short, cold, icy, snowy miserable end-of-year misery.

 

The Golf Warehouse Sale is only open from just before Thanksgiving thru December 27th. The Warehouse is a liquidator for pro shop merchandise from over 40 public, private and resort courses throughout Minnesota.  So anything that's sitting around in these pro shops when they close for the season gets sent to the warehouse for sale.

 

 

 

The one requirement is they will only work with PGA professionals, and many of the pros will actually work at the shop to help you find the right stuff.  

 

And oh my goodness there's a lot of stuff to look at..

 

 

 

 

 

You want irons? They got irons...

 

 

 

Those TMag Tour Preferred CB's were basically new, with a $500.00 price tag.  Another set right next to it has a $750 price tag.  What's the difference?  Each pro shop prices their own stuff.  One shop may price equipment right at cost to move it fast, while another one may price higher.  The Warehouse has weekly discounts and sales.  Today's discount was 10% off any marked price.

Saw this interesting collectable - a mint set of 1967 McGregor VIP irons...

 

 

 

 

$1,750 - no discounts.  Rats!

 

Prices drop every week, so you can always score a better deal -- unless of course the item you want to buy is gone.  And once it's gone, it's gone.  Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you don't.  

 

Oh, and they do take trade-ins as well.  Got rid of some of my inventory for about $60 worth of store credit.  What to buy???

First discount was yesterday.  They used to have discounts every Wednesday, but I think they may be changing it up.  Best to follow them on Facebook here.
