Scotty has created an inspired by Jordan Spieth, at least an uber limited one in GSS. There were 21 made with 5 going to Jordan and 16 being believed to be in circulation. Rumors are a SS release, likely similar to the IBRM in numbers, will also be released. I've already got my call in and am at the top of a list for it. But here's the GSS one...

The public release will be stainless. These are for big buddies, I mean special collectors, of Scotty stuff.

 

And Hula, the club buyer for one of the largest retailers with one of the largest Titleist accounts in the U.S. Put my name at the top of his list. If they get one I'll have one.

I just can't get into the limited and inspired by releases. I would never play them and I am not into wall hangers so maybe that is why. Great looking putter but not for me.

My wife gave up on me getting new putters and just lets it go.  Bought a Futura X over the weekend and my wife's comment to my was "you only bought one putter?"

I think it's terrible. Most expensive IB ever and it's not the same shape (Newport vs 009), the finish is different, material different, they obscured the longhorn by a trophy that has zero significance, etc. this is the new Newport with fancy engraving, at a $550 up charge. Sorry but it's a swing and a miss for me. Least the Rors was a 009 head shape.

IMO they should have done an identical black carbon 009 with same stampings and specs L/L\. That would've been sweet!

My guy is seeing if they get any. With it being 1k pieces instead of 2k, the reps may get all of them. They did a 009 with the Rors, why not this one, idk. Regardless with all things considered it's a swing and a miss

This never should've been called an inspired by. It should be called a victory putter because it's in no way inspired by Jordan's putter. Looks like just some extra old version Newport heads left lying around with fancy engraving. It's a shame really because there was a big opportunity here to knock this out of the park for collectors...

100% agree with you that this should be a victory putter. Hardly any similarities to his actual gamer. Pretty disappointing.

But hey at MSRP (and lots are selling above MSRP from reps and such), it's a tidy $1.5 million profit on these 1500 putters
