It's holding up pretty well. There's definitely a little wear on the sole though. I imagine it'll eventually wear enough that it bothers me. But after quite a few rounds, it's held up surprisingly well. Where the grooves are isn't blue. It's a standard satin machine finish. So there's no worry about the finish where the ball hits.

I bought myself the Ping G425 3 wood to match my Ping G425 LST driver, which has changed my game! I used to play with a Callaway 3 wood and after the change to Ping, I gained 20 meters (22 yards). This means I can hit the 3 wood on a tighter tee shot without losing so much distance and it is also now possible to reach par 5s in 2 easier! What brand of woods do you guys play with?

I tested the Callaway Epic Superhybrid and the 21* was long and super forgiving, so I ordered that and the 18* 3 hybrid. I'm going to turn them both down 1 degree and replace my 5 wood and 3H. Despite switching from 3W to 5W, I just can't seem to consistently hit woods as straight as my hybrids so after five years of trying, it's time for something new and the 3H at 17* should go as far as my 5W based on my testing. These were $500 new when released in 2022 and I got them for about $100 and $110 from Callaway's eBay store in like new condition with Steelfiber shafts.

I also ordered an Odyssey Number 10 slant neck from Callaway's eBay store because it ranked so high in Most Wanted from 2021 and I just sold my O-Works #7.

I have a Titleist 910 driver, 3w, and 5hy, 7hy. And a cut down Adams 7w that hits like a 9w

In the process of earning some MEGA brownie points with my wife by trading in a bunch of my old clubs that'll never see the course again for new sticks for her. Taking advantage of the Callaway 2X trade in bonus towards Ai Smoke clubs and getting her a Max Fast irons set and possibly a Smoke HL Hybrid for Net $48 .

Otherwise going a slightly different route and instead of the Smoke HL, an Aerojet Max driver and Radspeed hybrid, which brings the net cost down even more lol.

Had a 20% discount, which kept it at the $100-ish level, which I appreciate.  I've used them in the past for non-golf applications, and they're great-ish.  The best thing, truly, is their unbelievable "break/lose we replace" feature, which means they're actually considerably cheaper than $100

I'll for sure do a little write-up once I've gotten them on course.

I'll have to look into them next time I buy a pair of sunglasses.   My first pair lasted about 42 years so if my current pair hold up, I may not need another pair for a while.

Alright, so went ahead and ordered a 7-SW set of the Paradym Ai Smoke MAX Fast irons for my wife, as well as an Aerojet Max driver and Radspeed hybrid! Irons were a custom order with length and lie adjustments, so those will take a bit longer to get but the driver and hybrid should be in next week! I may be more excited than her  but it's gonna be worth it. She was always asking what the big difference is with clubs, the "a driver is a driver, right?" process. She's gonna find out real soon what the difference is from the $200 box set!

The 100% trade in bonus for new Callaway stuff was just too good to pass up, and my bag is well set. I knew I couldn't sell some of that stuff for what I will get with the bonus, so had to take advantage!

Every individual club was wrapped completely, I’ve never seen that before, normally it’s just the heads and grips. 

KBS 120 tour shafts with Lamkin Crossline grips. Amazing quality. 

They also sent me free of charge a brand new golf hat and towel. Once again. never seen that from a manufacturer. I’m playing on Saturday and will add a quick review, I’ve already tagged and updated my Shot Scope for these new Dead Sexy Irons. 

So now I've tried these bad boys, what do I think.

Well as most know, first time out using new clubs is always a little bit of a coin toss. 

Trusting them  to do what you want or hope they will do takes time  but I can tell you they look awesome and the ones I hit out the  middle of the face were very responsive, I just have to get them toe and heeled to make a full experience review.  But first thoughts, good deal, well built golf clubs I just need that small window of time or wake up as Scottie or Rory in the morning.

I'm playing at We-Ko-Pa golf course in the morning so a other chance to work with them.

I got glasses in 5th grade and when I graduated high school I got contacts and treated myself to a pair of Vaurnet sunglasses.  They were the "in" sunglasses to own at that time.  I took care of them like glasses and always put them in the case when I wasn't using them so no scratches on the lenes.     A few years ago I was getting them out and the frame around the lens broke in 3 places.   I bought a pair of Oakleys to replace them and have been using those since that time.

Just picked up a SeeMore putter. It was on sale at PGA Superstore for $249. I’ve been looking at this putter for a while and couldn’t pass it up.

 
Then I traded two of my TaylorMade (50, 52) wedges for Vokey (48, 52) wedges. The TaylorMades had the wrong bounce and I really wanted a 48 anyway. I kept the TW grind 56.

Will possibly see how they play this weekend.

Still impressive!  It never fails for me, I'm doing something and they slip off my bald head!  Ha. I do pretty well, but between construction and real estate they end up taking a beating after a few years.

Other way around. Larger hybrid head on a fairway wood shaft is a super hybrid. Just like what Callaway makes and Cleveland with the Hy-wood. Although Cleveland puts a fw face on it.

Didn't buy anything but finally took out all my recently purchased new toys and they worked well. Shot a course personal best today. 

PSA take your irons and wedges in yearly for loft and lie checks! I checked mine and some were WAY off! The adjustments paid dividends on the course today.

Had my wedge fitting today and it went very well. Jason Terry was my fitter and did a nice job. Was fitted into a 46-10F for my much needed gap wedge and 50-12F, 54-12D, and 58-12D to finish out the set. This an increase in bounce for the three lower lofts and provided some real nice turf interaction from what I had been experiencing. I am also converting from steel shafts to Steel Fiber graphite shafts and as is normal for me +1" in length.

I ordered the needed 46* and then the 58* as its grooves were pretty well worn out although I have seen worse. Should have them in a couple of weeks and if they work and feel the way I hope they will I'll pull the trigger on the 50* and 54*.

The Green Wolf lenses are awesome - some of the best I've used on the course. Likely going to come down to whether you picked the right shape for you. 

Also, used their replacement policy for the first time last year - super easy, but it's like $15 processing (still a great deal if you use it). It was for one of their wood-looking frames, and I'm guessing they just got a bad batch in that style/color combo, because they just broke a second time in the same spot - that second one got approved as a warranty replacement, which is $0.
