Ping - Driver and 2 wedges (and alternate putter - when my first one isn't working)

Titleist - Hybrids, irons and putter

Cobra - 5 wood - although this is the oldest club in my bag and I doubt it lasts through 2021

Cleveland - wedge

Completely agree. I am biased to titleist but am by no means sponsored so I am playing what works best which is why titleist only occupies wedges, wood and putter.

So I have two brands in my bag, Callaway and Titleist.  Now, I am a NOT brand loyal, yet I have Callaway irons, Callaway driver, Callaway 5 wood and Callaway wedges.  The only Titleist in my bag is my 3 wood.  That being said, I can explain lol.  I had Mizuno irons but then I hit the Apex irons and liked them better so I got a great deal that I couldn't pass up so the Mizuno's had to go.  I've had the Epic Flash since it came out so I've had it for a few years now.

The pro at my course is a Callaway guy so when I was looking for a 5 wood, he had an Epic Flash that he had which didn't work for him.  I hit it and needless to say it DID work for me so it went into the bag.  I had Vokey wedges for a long time and needed to replace them this summer.  Again, the pro gave me a Great deal on new JAWS wedges (basically he gave them to me at cost) so I couldn't turn that down either.  Hence how so many Callaway clubs worked their way into my bag over the years.  Not my fault guys, I swear!  haha

I can completely relate to this post 100%.

About 9 months ago I switched out my bag a bit because I had listened to a good friend of mine wax on about the greatness of his irons and some other clubs.  I fully bought in and thought, man if he says that it must be true.  (We're both the same HCP and I'd first hand witnessed his ability with distance control, flight, etc)

So I switched out my Callaway X-forged 18 irons to Mizuno 919's.  I also switched out my wedges and my hybrid.  Driver was going anyways and I wouldnt change anything about my SIM choice now, but I digress.

Having played these clubs for the past 9 months I've found a couple things.  While I agree one brand doesn't tick off all the boxes in most cases, I have found that I'm quickly falling out of love with my choice and realizing that what I was playing wasn't so bad in the first place.  I suppose we all go through that at some point, but it really struck home the past weekend when it was cold out and I happened to hit my friends APEX Pro iron's and was blown away with the strike results, flight, etc.  They essentially were a mirror image of my x-forged irons down to shaft grip etc.  Now I find myself questioning everything...again.  Ugh

I guess that's first world problems for you being a club ho, but this really brought me back to the idea that when I was playing predominantly one brand in my bag minus the driver, putter and wedges I was playing pretty well.  oye

New the forum, but I'm gaming 6 brands:

Taylormade driver

Ping 3 wood

Nike 5 wood

Mavrik irons(as of late but I don't think they are a good fit for me and may be selling soon for ping irons) it's hard finding a knowledgeable fitter.

Cleveland rtx4 wedges(love these)

And most recent addition is a Newport 2

Titleist bag

3 brands. Titleist, mizuno, and callaway/odyssey. I have an affinity to use Titleist because of their strict quality control with their materials and the shafts/grips they make available for builds

All PING in my bag except my Odyssey putter. Planning to make some changes this year. I believe I will end up with the Mizuno STz fairway wood. I would like to give the PXG 0211 hybrid a go, but probably will end up with the PING G425. Thinking that I will upgrade to the PING i220 irons and Glide 3 wedges. Auditioning new putter this year too.
