Popular Post StrokerAce
I was just updating my signature and realize that I'm up to 7 different brands in my bag. This wasn't intentional and just happened. I don't really have much allegiance and don't fault those of you who do; I *wholeheartedly* believe in the play-your-game-whatever-works-for-you concept. This is my <current LOL!> breakdown: TourEdge (driver) Cobra (3W) Callaway (SuperHybrid) Titleist (hybrid) Srixon (irons) Cleveland (wedges) Bettinardi (putter) There is no right or wrong answer to this question, but out of curiosity, how many brands have you used or are using at one time? 15 Quote I got something to say then I'm gonna say it. Popular Post BNewton51
I read, I believe on MGS, a long time ago the philosophy I've always ascribed too when I've played my best. No one brand has all the right answers for anyones game. I've currently got 4 brands represented but that can fluctuate in all honesty because I do switch out clubs frequently. There was a time recently from top to bottom I went with Callaway clubs. Woods, irons, wedges and odd putter. That was a forced set make up and honestly it hurt my game overall. In the end, clubs are tools. You gotta have the right tool to be able to score your best. That's what I've gone back too and my scores are reflective of that now as well. 10 Quote BNewt51 Driver: TSi3 9* 3 Wood: TS2 14* Hybrid: Ping 425 17* and Ping 410 22* (interchangeable with 4 iron depending on conditions) Irons: JPX 921 Tour 4-GW Wedges: Jaws 54 Wedge, Jaws 58 Hi-Toe Putter: Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Ball: Pro-V1 and Pro-V1x Hoofer - St. Judes Special Edition Bag Bushnell Range Finder (Patriot Pack) V-5 w/ Slope *King of taking (borrowing) all my club ***** friends clubs after they've discarded them after a couple months! Micah T
I’m an unapologetic Titleist ho, but after being fit for a driver and putter, more brands have made their way into my bag. Currently:Ping(driver)Taylormade(putter)My 3 wood(917f2), irons(AP3) and wedges(vokey) are all still Titleist. My new 3 wood will be a Ping, and I did try some TM and ping wedges at my fitting, but ended up staying with Titleist, in the form of some black SM8.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy 3 Quote Driver - Cobra LtDxLS 3 Wood - Ping g410 LST 2iron - Titleist U505 Irons - Ping i59 Wedges - Vokey Sm9 Putter - Mizuno Mcraft IV

LeftyMatt89
I love titleist and could game a full bag, but at the end of the day I like a hi toe wedge for my lob wedge and really like my 2 hybrid/3iron non titleist combo. I try to play what best suits me. And ball I okay Srixon so I guess one more brand. 3 Quote Driver: Rogue ST 9 Ventus Black TR 6X Fairway: TSi2 16.5 Ventus Blue 8X Driving Iron: New Level NLU-01 Ventus Black 10TX Irons: Apex TCB 5-AW X100 T100 4 iron X100 Wedges: SM8 54.12 X100 & 60.08 Modus 125 Wedge Putter: Lajosi DD201 Pro V1x
Nolan220
When I first started I only played Taylormade bc I just thought it was a top end brand and I need to all the same brand .. My buddy who is a scratch golfer only plays titleist still ... but after actually learning more about golf and the industry with the help of MGS, I made it a focus to try other brands and it worked out .. I love the Ping G400 driver and my cobra 5 wood and when I played one lengths. 4 Quote Speedzone Driver Tensei AV Blue or G400 SFT 10. fixyurdivot
Pretty much been all PING for the past 35 years but that may very well change after next week. To be honest, the PE2's were just the hot club at the time and the G410's did yield the best results from my first ever LM fitting. But now, having been on MGS for a couple of years, I am woke to other possibilities - so we shall see . 6 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)
