EasyPutter
I used to ask for things up until I was 19. It was then I was tired of knowing exactly what I wanted, having made sure those who were getting it knew exactly what I wanted, and on the appointed day of receiving I was always disappointed. The whatever it was that had been imagined and thought about for ages never lived up to what was expected. After years of being disappointed I realized it was not the receiving of a thing that made the season so special, it was the times of togetherness and sharing including whatever was on hand for food and drink that makes everything perfect. I sincerely hope you (meaning everyone who reads this post) get your whatever it is you want. And with any luck at some point in the future, our paths will cross, most likely in warm months well away from winter holidays, and then we can lift a favorite drink and have something delightful to eat and share some good times together. It is after all that which makes life worth living. Merry Christmas everyone and I look forward to celebrating with you whatever is your holiday and those special times no matter what they are called. Golf2Much
A back yard putting green. November 2021, we started a back yard renovation after a tropical storm took down one neighbor's tree limb which in turn destroyed most of our back yard trees. Now with no shade, my wife wanted a small dipping pool. I wanted an outdoor putting green and eventually, we both got what we wanted. We needed to do the pool first before tackling the new landscaping and green installation. Almost a year later, in mid-November, the contractor "shot" the concrete pool which gave us hope for a completed project (both pool and putting green) by Christmas. Like everything else, delays have been a big part of the entire project! I ordered my putting green to time delivery in mid-December. I found out this week that my source is having issues with the quality control of their supplier causing a delay in delivery. They have over 100 backordered greens and won't know for two more weeks when they will even be able to ship the green to me. Given everything so far with this project, it would be great to have a Christmas miracle and get my green by that special day. Who knows, maybe the story can become the latest Hallmark Channel Christmas made for TV movie!
