Will do @Samuel09152 It's strange how things change.  I have always been a sports fan.  Never watched volleyball really or softball or anything like that.  But now, and hence my handle, I prefer to watch softball over baseball.  I can sit and watch volleyball.  They're my girls so of course I want to watch them, but we can sit and watch it on TV all together and it's fine.  Even NCAA women's basketball.  Of course that helps that the SC Gamecocks have been so good for the last several years and I am from SC.  But it is good.  Girls sports are coming along.  Sadly, I never got them too interested in golf.  It's never too late, but their interests were elsewhere and never really had the time and finances to pull them out there with me.  They do make a bad day good though and a great day even better!

Good morning golfers,
I've been a little M.I.A. lately, busy with work and pinched a nerve in my neck. Was forced to play with it yesterday. Okay, forced isn't right word. haha. But my course is doing a pre-season match play tournament. Running out of time, so I had to play slightly injured. Channeled my inner Scottie Scheffler, put on my KT tape, and went out and fired a 1 under and 3 up win. On to the next round! Hit em well spy's.

Good morning everyone. Surgery went great yesterday. Already eating solid foods and the worst part odds not being able to blow my nose for 2 weeks

My stance has always been if its UA, I'll watch it.  I showed up for women's basketball in the early 80s when the "crowds" at Barnhill were more in the dozens. I dial up Hog softball and volleyball and gymnastics from the Casa in NC. GF will even watch gymnastics with me and she is not a sports fan at all.

The womens sports programs here have been awesome.  We were at the game when they beat UConn a few years ago which was awesome.  Been to several volleyball games as well.  I do tend to stay away from the gymnastics now that my girls are older and not into it.  We have not been to a softball game, but that is on the list.  My youngest plays softball and so I know she'd love to go see them.  But yeah, same, if it is UA then we will watch.

Well wouldn't you know it! Forecast was for a washout this morning, so the Seniors Assoc. Grand Poobah cancelled regularly scheduled round yesterday afternoon to be proactive... Not a drop in the area! Believe it stayed South in @Josh Parker neck of the woods. 

Congratulations @GolfSpy_APH for the well deserved recognition and thank you for your tireless efforts in support of the Forum!

Good morning all from sunny Phoenix. Heading back up to camp verde this morning,in Phoenix to visit my brother and celebrate my birthday and his wife's birthday. Got a 12:12 tee time at agave highlands today in cornville, going to be 70 when we tee off can finally wear shorts to golf in, yippee. Weather back home sucks, 30 with snow showers. Can't wait to get back there, not. If you're golfing today hit'm straight and have fun.

Damn. I'd gladly take 14 pars in a 76! Nice round. I do understand the 'exceptional circumstance' dropping of league HCP, but yeah it sucks when all the golfing stars align and you barely put a foot out of place and are 'punished'...

After my 37 I didn't break 40 again in the league (albeit I was a reserve player and only played 5/6 rounds total), but my HCP wasn't adjusted for the rest of the league. By the end of the league that was probably the right HCP as I improved, registered for an official HCP and ended the season trending in the right direction.

Good morning Spies! Day four of the five-day road trip, today in Fayetteville NC. Notified that my Rypstick is arriving at the Casa today, and Fit For Golf is ever closer to rolling out app version 2.0 which will start my test for MGS. Hoping the use of those two tools will combine to make a 250-yard drive more than a once-every-30-years thing, with the latest episode yesterday thanks to a downhill slope at Pinehurst #1.

Further weirdness from the ball collisions: Chris was chipping from off the green, which at Pinehurst are small and slippery, and he hit it too hard. Good morning spies! Interesting testing opportunity with the Motocady. I definitely thought about that hard, but came down to the fact there is nothing wrong with my MGI Zip Navigator - now with over 900 miles on it - and I really do not need two carts in the garage with one sitting static all the time. But, if you ply these boards I encourage you to sign up. Letting the cart haul my clubs around while I step out along side or behind it is one of the true pure joys I have while on the course.

Speaking of courses, had a fine round yesterday where my short game actually WORKED!!!! 11 opportunities for pitches or chips inside of 90 yards, 8 of them successful for par. Shot an 81. The Maxfli Tour X continues to impress me around the green. Going after some more video footage this morning. It is amazing how much of what I film is just worthless under the production magnifying glass.

Good Morning everyone!  Been off the air for a few days; nursing a sore back and BIL came for a visit.  Played last Saturday but barely made 9 holes and every swing hurt my back.  On Sunday I mostly walked the course carrying my SW and hitting short pitches and chips around the green while my wife played.  While my BIL was visiting, my wife made a tee time for Tuesday.  My back felt a little better and I made a few easy full swings that didn’t hurt, but I could only play 6 holes before my massage appointment.  The massage seemed to help a lot; back felt pretty good so on Wednesday I went to the range and hit a few drivers.  Distance not quite back to normal, but I had no sharp pain.  Nice having a couple of 80º days, but cooling off again… only high 60’s today.  No golf until Saturday.

Also on Wednesday I went for my SAM PuttLab experience.  Overall it was enlightening but too much information for me.  I got a view of my current Ping gamer, but I was really there to get my other Ping putter adjusted for reverse armlock ala Kuchar.  My gamer Ping is 72º Lie and 3º Loft, but SAM PuttLab recommended increasing loft to 4º because of my forward press.  Roll was much better.  My reverse armlock Ping was adjusted from 70º Lie to 72º and loft decreased to 0º; almost went to -1º loft.  This is an experiment and my putting with it was awful, but that is because I haven’t figured out a comfortable way to lock it to my arm, or where to play the ball in my stance.  Not going to change my putter… just something to putter around with.  

Can’t make the Call today; it’s my wife’s turn to see the heart specialist.  She is taking the Stress Test at 1pm.  She is already complaining about no coffee this morning!!

going to be a honey do list day for me today. Got to repair the chicken coop since some of the chicken wire is now starting to come up off the poles. And then continue raking up pine needles in a couple areas of the yard so we have green grass again this spring and summer and not a wonderful pine needle accent. Hope everyone has a great day.

I hear that! Watching my daughter play soccer is like watching the World Cup for me. So much emotional attachment. She’s been playing since she was four, 17 now, and our entire lives have revolved around it since she started.

So it seems almost all the people who have a MotoCaddy really like them. Fyi, I have an MGI Zip Navigator which is very similar and which I also really like .. except for the bottom bracket that the foot of the bag rests on - it's really made for a cart bag and I prefer a stand bag (for when I go to the range or a lesson somewhere else or travel).

Also note that @WaffleHouseTour is doing a review, under Member Reviews, of the new BagBoy Volt and that one looks pretty good to me.

Check that one out, too, and shop around - yes they're $$$ but heck yeah they are way way worth it!!!

Her first call today went well. Better than I thought. She seems really excited about it. The school is 8 hours away from us but if she wants to do it, that is up to her. She has one more at 1pm CT.

A late day post due to working the Club Championship at our Club.  Had to be at work at 6am, with 56 degree temps, BRR.  But did wake me up running carts!  Fun day & fun to watch the Members, who play every day, suddenly start grinding. The extra waggle on the tee, the 2nd & third look & now grinding over those 3 & 4 foot putts.  Saturday is the final round and another 6am workday start.  No golf today, but made it home in time for Forum Call this afternoon.  

Great to hear you are doing well after surgery @BreakfastBall15 !

Pinehurst update.. played Pinewild, Magnolia Course this morning.. was a test for sure. Took 3-4 holes to feel right and loose, ended up with a 92.

afternoon round was at Mid Pines… let me tell you this may have been the hands down best course I’ve ever played. It’s was BEAUTIFUL. I loved everything about that course, well groomed, elevation changes, tight greens. Everything I wanted on this trip and I played well 44 front, 40 back. Putter was doing work all round. I honestly don’t think I could have played better. Images attached.

Tobacco Road is the final round tomorrow on the way out of town.

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! 

I enjoyed the community call yesterday with Philip, he's always been a great guest and it's fun getting a peek inside Most Wanted testing. 

It's a bit of a rainy morning here and it's going to be a wet weekend, but the work week is almost over. It's been a long one and it'll be nice to spend some time with the family. 

@PapaGoose8, it sounds like you had a good time at Pinehurst and I hope you have a wonderful experience at Tobacco Road. That's a bucket list course for me even though I think it would eat my lunch. It's just so beautiful.
