I don’t mind the steadfast, but want to see how the Velicore performs. I also built a Tensi Orange yesterday for it. Just waiting for it to dry. It’s ready today so I’ll measure real quick.

If the shaft designs have counter balancing, or more mass in the butt end, that will change your swingweights as well, even with same length shafts.

She’s not so angry with me this morning so that’s good. Had a great round yesterday and was just off to the side of the pin for an ace. But close only works In horseshoes, hand grenades, and nukes. Man I'll forgive you the joining the Navy (Proud Puddle Pirate here) because that is an awesome enlistment story! Probably the coolest I have heard! What was the mood of the OOD administering the OOE to you guys if you remember? 

If I remember correctly he was upbeat. I do remember he was a LTJG. I guess it broke up a boring night for him. As officers go he was young but of course older than us. One of the duties I pulled one night when I was getting out was driver for the OOD at Norfolk. This guy was cool as heck was getting out himself. He was a Lt. Commander. He asked right off if I liked coffee? I was not much of a coffee drinker then. I told him I liked Pepsi Cola. He said well good because you will need plenty of caffeine because this is long and boring. He was correct all we did was ride around and look. Stopped and shot the bull with guys on watch. We had a radio in the car in case they needed to contact him. Cool guy he was a pilot getting out and was going to work for one of the airlines. Told me right off the bat that if no one was around NOT to sir him his name was Ed.

Since I am now retired I wear shorts and crocs everywhere I go until it gets too cold to do so. Now I do not wear Crocs to play golf in I wear either Skechers or Skoni golf shoes to play in.

We had this older guy at my former church who wore shorts darn near all the time even in the winter. Note: No one around here gives two rips if someone wears shorts and flip flops or Crocs to church. After all we are at the beach. Any how the running joke around that Church was if Larry was wearing full pants then it was COLD. He was originally from Buffalo NY so that explained things

Good morning!!! Last day of work before the wife and I leave my son with the Mother-in-Law for a week and we are going on vacation floating around in a big boat! Of course next week a lot is scheduled to kick off at work so mostly today will be spent planning ahead for my absence so my crew doesn’t just twiddle thumbs for a week

Up this AM. Waiting to see what the weather will be like. Scheduled to play the spin off small money game today. Last night we got some rain but right now the wind is blowing. But I doubt if we play I do not expect it.

Yesterday was a ho hum Birthday Day. I thank everyone for their well wishes. The wife worked Wednesday night so she was exhausted. I did my usual golf day breakfast of Yogurt and a protein pack. Worked in one area of the yard demoing an old flower bed and smoothing it out. Worked my butt off. Came in about 1 and took a shower settled in and watched the golf. The wife got up about 4 and suggested we go to the Moose. Hey one does not have to plod me too much to go eat at our Moose. Great food and reasonable prices. Watched the golf while we were there. Came home and went to bed early because now I was exhausted

Good morning everyone! 

It's a rainy morning here and I'm thankful it's not stormy. I hope all my friends affected by the hurricane and their families are safe this morning. 

We had a morning non production day at work yesterday but the community call me the overall day exciting. Mike Nicolette was absolute fire and you can just see the excitement he has for their product. I highly recommend if you missed it to check it out when Jamie posts the recording. 

It's Friday and let's get it over with and start the weekend. Y'all have a good day!

I will admit it looks a lot better than I had thought. The black core makes it look a lot slimmer. It was also lighter than I had thought pushing it around for the 9 holes I played. 

There were a few other little things that I noted which I really liked compared to the Anyday bag. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, they both have some great benefits and core features. 

The bottom is large enough that it does not sit as well in the SunMountain care which I was surprised by. It does, but not smoothly I will say which is a knock on the cart, not the bag. 

The other big key I liked initially is the 14 way top and how it has a large/long bottom slit that works great for wedges.

We talked about that in the thread. It makes sense on their layout for push carts. For gas carts that layout doesn't function as well that way. Just a super clean bag!  And the quality is top notch.

Good morning Guys. 

I got some practice again last evening working on my swing. I even pulled out my first set of clubs that I bought when I first got addicted to golf. A set of Srixon Z785's that I had no business buying as they are pretty much blades. I hit them amazing well and they are just butter and I might take them out for a round soon. The weather has been rainy all week with more forecasted for this evening and weekend but I will still try to play this evening. I'm sure it will be cartpath only but that is fine. They were going to punch the greens this week but they moved it to next week because of all the rain we have been getting. 

Please stay safe everyone in the path of the hurricane and hopefully you won't get any damage.

What about the 14-way bag doesn’t work well for you in a driving cart? I’ve really come to love the way my Ghost 14-way functions as a carry/Nitron/driving cart “hybrid”bag.

I love my 14 way on a driving cart. The GT layout is different.

on a driving cart I would put woods in the wedges spot and move wedges near the putter. 

For a push cart the layout they show works great because of how it leans back to the handle. It puts the woods at the highest point

Good morning all. Back home now from sunny Tenerife to the grey, wet weather that is London at the moment. Not as bad as those in the path of Helene so hope those affected stay safe. 
Home for the weekend then off to Rome on Tuesday so hoping the weather cooperates and I can get some golf in. 
Will try and catch up on all the missed threads while I’ve been away but it’s a lot of reading so might not get to them all.
