Popular Post Golfspy_CG2
Good Morning. Another closed course day with snow stil on the ground, allthough not surprising and not complaining. Yesterday the Head Pro left at noon, leaving only me in the entire clubhouse and grounds. Popular Post William P
Good morning Spies. It is going to be quite the nice day here with temp getting into mid 50's... Unfortunately, greens are still covered, and everything is closed as we will return to freezing temps tomorrow and continue through the weekend. Then the rain shows up and is forecast to stay through Wednesday... As others have noted this morning, it appears that January may be a total write off where golf is concerned. On a better note, I did get out, as instructed by SWMBO, yesterday and get a little practice time in the sim. Can't say it was pretty but did offer some hope for improvement in the coming season. A little frustrated with the trackman setup though as it did not save or forward my session report as requested. Has anyone else experienced this issue when dealing with the trackman system/equipment? Stay safe and hit'em well if you have the opportunity. ejgaudette, Rob Person, jbern and 8 others 11 Quote TSR1, 9*, Fujikura Ventus Black, 6-S TSR1, 15*, HZRDUS Black, 5.5 TSR2, Hybrid, 18*, TPT HYBRID 17/Lo RBZ Tour4 Hybrid, 21.5*, S T-200, (2023), 5-PW, SteelFiber, i95cw, S Vokey Design, 50,54,58, Dynamic Gold S200 Studio Select, Newport 1.5 ELIXR (2022)
Popular Post Kenny B
Great News!! Our club's new Yamaha golf carts arrived this morning... The club has 3-year lease program with Yamaha. We joined the club in late 2015 for the 2016 season and we got new carts that spring. Then they got new ones again in 2019... THEN... COVID!!! So no carts were received in 2022, however late in 2022 we finally got new batteries when the carts wouldn't make 18 holes. No carts in 2023 either, but about 4 months ago we received new seats because the seats (specifically driver seat) were trashed from the COVID influx of players, and the batteries are starting to go out again on a few carts. When it warms up, we will have brand new carts, and I'm hoping our old cart cover will still work. It should unless Yamaha changed their design radically. If it makes it through this spring, it will have lasted since February 2015. Popular Post Irish-Assassin
Good Morning, A little while ago I posted that I may have lost my mind and went all in on new irons, wood and hybrids, kept my Scotty. I said something like, thinking outside the box and not being a simp to the big four brands. So only played once since I’ve had them, the PXG XcoR2 irons are amazing, literally take aim, fire and hit green. I mean that’s worth being happy about for anyone, but the biggest surprise was the Wilson Dynapower carbon driver. First tee, friends tee off I decide to go last, well let’s see it Mr new driver they say. Hit the driver, didn't really notice anything special until I drive past all three of the others and kept driving, where you going one asked, I said to my ball which I noticed was like 60-80 yards past there's. Ok I thought, it’s one hole and let’s not lose my mind, third hole hit driver, same result, hmmm. After the 12 odd hole I used driver it was plain to see this driver is sick of the tee, it does exactly what it advertised. The Dynapower three wood and hybrids are like portable missile launcher also, easy to hit and long. My friends didn't seem to be happy with my choice of clubs, but my wallet is very happy and I told them I’m like personal exercise equipment to them, after the round they were a little lighter.
