I missed the first half of the call dealing with having to make a claim on my car. It was a great listen as I was mowing the yard and I was living in fear I would hit the unmute button and y'all would hear the mower running. 

Calls with representatives of OEM's are always informative and thanks for setting this up, @GolfSpy_APH.

Great Vokey call today.  I found it really interesting..

Good to hear that there will be no changes to their grinds (I love the grinds) and no full face wedges!  At least we know they are making a mint from Wedge Works products that are niche, but they work for a particular subset of golfers.

Forgot to mention, I still have a set of Vokey SM7 wedges that I would probably still be playing if it wasn't for the SnakeBite wedges in my bag. 

I almost chimed in on this but... Lawn mower.

I almost feel like I need to replace my SM8s after the call today…seems like mine are on the edge of old now!

Great focus piece for playing on course listening to the details about wedges and the design and finish on them.  Great questions and again hearing from a subject matter expert who has forgotten more about his craft than most of us will ever know.

These were still in play until the last couple months and after hearing rounds, the sm9s may need friends while they are on sale still.

I know the feeling Josh, My spin milled are 2007 vintage, so they are definitely up for renewal this year, although, they don't appear to be worn out yet...

I play enough rounds that they prob need to be replaced at least twice a year but that gets expensive quick.

They aren't cheap. I don't play enough for that frequency of replacement but, I should have replaced mine long ago.

Agreed, I had a set of TM wedges around 10 years before I made a poor choice with one of them.  They started as a satin finish, but the color wore off the face and were way more shiny than they started (to the point where the sun reflected off at certain angles).

Awesome call with a lot of great information shared. Thanks Jamie @GolfSpy_APH for getting this arranged.

Another large turnout of members too, at one time I saw that there were 29 people on the call.

I played SM5's for about 4+ yrs, replacing them with SM8's, which I bought new in a closeout.  After going through a Titleist fitting, I found I was playing the incorrect grinds, which is the only reason I'm replacing the SM8's with SM10's.  Now I'm really stoked because the SM10's came in the black finish vs the chrome finish of the SM8.

My 56/60 are raw, my 52 is all black and it is sharp looking!

Thanks for posting this Jamie!  Got stuck in another meeting this week.  Our Thursday scheduling needs a revamp, it's starting to interfere with MGS-time.

@TJ Hall the Raw wedges are sharp looking.  I had played the raw & black/nickel previous to the SM8's.  There's something about that rust look that was appealing.

Really bummed I missed out on the live convo yesterday, but it was a good trade off as my oldest and I played 9 and he was striping it all day . Gonna give it a listen now, though!

That call was awesome. Aaron is a wealth of knowledge. I’ve never considered Titleist or Vokey, not sure why. But the SM 10s are at the top of my list with the new Pings when it’s time to get new wedges

The Vokey call was great last week.  The new SM10s look great with the newer grey colour.  The great background info and the Q&A were awesome.

i am really liking my current set of Vokeys.  The SM9s and the SM Forged (from Asia) 46F, 52F and 56M.  With the great MGS reviews, I had to try the MG3 60.  So I don’t have a full set of Vokeys.  It’s working well so far.  I did buy a SM9 58K just in case.

I'm not going to be able to make the community call tomorrow, I'm going to be playing nine after work. 

If I'm not mistaken it's the call with ShotScope and I have a question I would like answered. 

Do you have any plans to have Connex go automatically to the next hole after the player hits pin collect? 

I hate I'm missing, but the guys at work seem to like playing on Thursdays.
