Coaching typically gets in the way but hoping to find a way to start sneaking at least for little bit next week.

I enjoyed the community call again this evening. As always, the discussion was great and seeing Derek out on the course was enjoyable. @Tom the Golf Nut, I can't believe how big Ace had gotten. I saw him make a cameo.

I will try to make this next week.  I have been off and on sleep today trying to get past this illness.  Work some, sleep and repeat.  Feeling ok but a little bit drained.  Could be a combo of the youngest getting up at all hours of the night for the last couple weeks as well as the rain bringing in the high molds....

Agreed, another great call with a lot of discussion/interaction with the members who joined. And a bonus feature, being able to see Derek @EasyPutter out on the course.

Also always valuable to get some insight from Jamie @GolfSpy_APH and Matt @GolfSpy SAM

Robert, I only had to hear from Jason @sirchunksalot once about how he enjoyed watching the ride to Niagara Frontier a couple months ago to know that having something to see like play on course would be something good to add to the Community Call.  No idea how long the feature will go for on course with the impending change of seasons to more wintery, will likely have courses shut down within the next month if previous years is any guide.

I did not really mind the Jim Nantzesque commentary from Jamie @GolfSpy_APH last week or two weeks ago whenever that was even if I made some comment about timing, was a joke response and Jamie, if I'm doing anything worth commenting on it will be a disappointment if it does not get at least a few laughs 

Agreed this event weekly does make the forum seem a friendlier place with familiar names and faces!

UPDATE:  The new member I introduced and gave the MGS SPY keychain to is Jeremy @Bogeyhunter14 who everyone had a chance to see for a fact that he is just like us!

The community call has become a highlight of my week. Every week it is an hour of catching up with folks who I have come to regard as friends. 
 

For those that haven’t had a chance to join or are possibly nervous about being on a video call, it is a fun, friendly, and low stress environment. You can mute your microphone and turn off your camera and just observe it all. 
 

To those that do join in every week, thanks for your contributions. It has been a pleasure getting to know you all better.

I am sorry to have missed out on the call today, but it was sunny and 79* and heading to the course was too tempting!!  A friend joined me to get some swings with the Edison wedges.  I will try to dial in next week...temps are back down to the 50's so the temptation to play will be minimized!

Taking advantage of awesome weather is always an excused absence! We’ll catch you next week

I actually put it on my calendar repeating each Thursday at 3pm just so I don't forget. It's been a lot of fun just listening and enjoying the group in a different way.

I set a calendar reminder on my phone that reminds me every Thursday at 3:50pm that the community call starts at 4:00pm. If a phone reminder is not an option for you, outlook and gmail offer similar options within their email platforms.

For any of the newer or ppl who are hesitant to join. It's very informal, you can hop on and not say a word, ask questions in the chat, just listen or get involved and ask questions or take time to share your experiences. 

Sometimes I have topics on mind, other times... Okay most the time I just talk about what I think may interest you or myself and get opinions. 

We have a few more special guests lined up for the next little while which I'm excited about!

 Well despite the original difficulties it was great to hop on for alittle bit with everyone!

I was able to get in at the start using the totalitarian’s phone connect. I was monitoring mine for work.. Had to bail from the call on the fly because of “ Those People “ … I enjoyed what little I was a part of. Everyone was pleasant and patient. The original link will work for next week moving forward. Just had another appointment this week which meant I couldnt start it this week.
