Putter shafts - Do they matter?

I have often wondered having played the stock Scotty C shaft so many years. I just put in the Fujikura MC putter shaft to see if I get better results. I’ll let you know what I find out with it here soon.

I wonder how that will go. There must be something with Scotty shafts that are a little special since they don’t want to make it easy for companies like KBS to plug and play their shafts due to hosel sizing.

just picked up the Cleveland HB Soft 1 with the UST ALL-IN shaft and the feel is incredible. If you haven't tried a composite shaft in a putter it's worth it. might not work for you but it certainly matters, especially when the putter is the slowest club your swinging and at that speed you can really feel a difference.

I think for the longest time it was a “we don’t want aftermarket influence on our putters” similar to how Apple didn’t want third party companies making changes to their products or becoming competitors. 
The Fujikura MC is a plug and play shaft for Scotty’s so we will see. I get it back today from the shop. I went with a 115g X-Stiff MC for the highest rigidity. I’ll let you all know what I think about it and if it’s worth the $250 price tag they are charging “Yikes”
