It is kinda scattered throughout the beginning of the thread.  Basically we will be playing 2 person net best ball teams - using hole by hole match up against other teams.  Quasi-Match play (some of the nuances of "in person" match play can't be used... like conceding putts and such... but still should be a fun format.  We are working through the fine details on how the matchups will be scheduled... but each player will play 1 round a week for the first 3 weeks, and that score will be combined with a teammate score to determine each hole's best net score to par.  Then those "best ball" scores matched against another 2 person team best ball to determine the winner of the match.  After 3 weeks of play, the top point teams will play in the playoffs for the championship in weeks 4 and 5.

I spent a few years in Houston and had Astros season tickets. A part of my heart is with them but I’ll always prefer the Rangers!

I've really enjoyed today's opening of the MGS Virtual Tour Match Play Championship  free agency period.   The NFL has nothing on us!  

I spent most of the day just following all the signings, negotiations, and general banter.  It was great.  It just so happens, today is my wife's and mine 41st anniversary.  We were married on Long Island on August 14, 1982.   Since moving to Key West a bunch of years ago, we have a custom on our anniversary:  having our own little celebration bar crawl around Key West (for those who've been here...shocking I know)!  We go to our favorite breakfast place, start with mimosas and bloody mary's and then plot out our route to our favorite establishments.  Since we punched too many "fun tickets" over the weekend, we decided to truncate the bar crawl to only breakfast and our one true second stop.  We had a great late breakfast and got our bill.  The total was $41.82!  We had to look twice.  It was our 41st anniversary and we were married in 1982!  What a coincidence! 

We paid up and went to Key West Bait and Tackle.  What, a bait and tackle shop as your only other stop?   The reason is twofold.  First, they have the coldest beer on the island.  Second, on our first bar crawl we stopped there and got acquainted to White Trash Mimosas.  What are they?  It's a Millier High Life (you know, the Champaigne of bottle beer) and orange juice.  Knowing we were stopping there, I picked up a small bottle of OJ at the Dollar General.  They really are not as bad as they sound, especially if you pour it over ice.  We had our white trash mimosas, thanked our bartender and on our way home stopped for lottery tickets.  We were hoping that the $41.82 was a sign that we'd be a winner tonight!

If all this excitement is just in setting up the teams, I can't wait to see what happens when we start playing!!!!
