I've played the TP5 for the last 3-4 years - switched from the Pro V1X.

I picked up a few dozen of the Snell MTB X  this winter for the upcoming season.  Durability seems to be an issue so they may not last the entire season.  If I run out I plan to try the Maxfli Tour X next.

I’m switching from Pro V1 to Chrome Soft this year. Tried them a few times lately and they seem to suit my current game more so will see how it goes

Hey, no hate from this peanut gallery.  With so many changes and advancements in engineering,  you can't discount any opportunities to better your game!

Srixon got me again with a 24pack deal, so I will be trying out the z-star diamond sometime this season. It looks to be a nice in between on the xv and classic z-star, I usually play the latter. I’ll start the season with my maxfli tour most likely then see how the game looks before making the switch over. Should be a fun comparison between the z-star, z-star diamond and maxfli tour!

I love the Z-Star diamond. It does fly a little higher than some of the other balls I tested out last year but for me, it performed equal to the ProV1x at a lesser cost and slightly better than the Maxfli Tour at a slightly higher cost.

... I have been a Maxfli Tour convert for almost 3 years now. Performance and price ratio is as good as it gets for me. But I had some credit with Callaway and bought a dozen Chrome Tour limited edition Year Of The Dragon balls and have been very impressed by the performance. The dual dimple design is certainly intriguing. So I will take advantage of their buy 3 get 4 Chrome Tours and see if they can unseat the Maxfli's.

If you like the Diamond then watch for deals throughout the year. 2023 had Fathers Day and New Years deals of buy 2 get one free. Brings the cost per dozen down below $35.

I am Srixon guy thanks to MGS testing.  Love it and will keep it in the bag this year.  Will test other stuff, but not going back to a Pro V1.

Curious as to what you found wrong with ProV1 it's the ball I play and am looking at possible change and stoked about the TPX5 testing

Yeah no doubt!!!! I've been buying all mine via Lostballs.com as there is no way iam paying 50 bucks a dozen and they are like new for about 30% of the price. Something about throwing 5 dollar bills in the woods or water that irks me Even the Srixon XV I like got spendy enough I bought those from them too!! My one and only Ace was a Srixon XV

Just picked up 2 dozen of the Oncore Avant yellow balls during a BOGO sale. Only have 9 holes with them so far and I fell apart on the last 3 holes due to some hip soreness (I'm also training for my first marathon). But I was very pleased with the ball. I felt that it was accurate and long off the tee though seemed a little short with the irons. I had my longest drive by nearly 20 yards since I started tracking my rounds (about 8 months ago) with my Garmin S70 which I was a MGS tester for.

Have been playing the Vice Pro Soft for about 5 years. Will switch to the Vice Pro this year as it is a little longer. In the pasdt the accuracy was about the same.
