I've never seen these. They are interesting looking.  Any issues with marring the club faces?

Which ones are you using? The ones I got were a great novelty in the beginning for me, but that wore off after a snapped the ropes on a few.

They were just some cheap ones off amazon. I think I paid like 10$ for a dozen of them. I had a similar issue but just got some think bungee and made the cord longer and they worked fine enough.

Been playing for about 2 years in total. Winter breaks and a 6month period when I got sick. Starting to feel like myself again and recently played a “okay” round.
I currently have custom fit Cobra LTDx irons/wedges, a Vokey 60(cause my short game has been the best part of my game, and a Maverick 9 deg. Driver. Driving is the worst part of my game so My 4 iron usually takes alot of the long game abuse.

@Rob Person, this is what's great about MGS Forum. The little things in golf you don't think about & just do.  I use plastic tees & keep 3 tees in my pocket.

  •  Martini Tee (Pink or White) for driver
  •  a smaller 2 5/8" tee - fairway/rescue clubs
  •  one short mini tee for Par 3's

BTW, this is like my 4th Martini tee since 2015. They are durable!

I was given a bag of 50 supposedly unbreakable martini tees. I've snapped 5 so far. 2 in one day.  Gave a handful to friends here and there, and yup!  Snapped them too, usually right at the ground cup.

I’m a wood or bamboo tee user. I tend to find plenty of them on the tee box and use the broken ones or shorties for the par 3s. I like to have tees with stripes on them to keep tee height with driver consistent.

Wow, I've not snapped any of the Martini Tees.  Now that you say that, I do find broken Martini Tees during my Ranger Duties.

I must not be generating the swing speed you generate.  It's back to the gym for me! 🤣🤣🏋️‍♂️

Trust me, me and Marty McFly are only ones going 88mph.  Now if I could only get my hands on a Flux capacitor and 1.21 jiggawatts...😆

I use plastic Pride PTS Evolution tees.  Main reasons are I only have to carry a few with me as they typically don't break, they last a long time, you can find them around most tee boxes so you don't have to buy them and as a former plastics engineer, I like to see how they are made.

I've tried the Flightpath and RecTeefier tees mentioned on the first page.  I've never seen any appreciable difference in performance and they can be more expensive.

I have to agree with @Rob Person's comment on collecting broken plastic tees.  I also will bring them home, whittle a point and use them for par threes.  Sort of reuse and recycle!

Stand on what?  What options would you suggest?

Here is a snippet of the tees I use regularly.  The white/orange are a very flexible Tee with a rubber cone on top. Just got them, and so far they work well.

The rubber cone reduces risk of marring a club.

It's a magnetic tee. I have 2 different sized ones, and am underwhelmed by them. I've broken a couple ropes already, and unless you plunge the the base sub earth,  you can risk impact with the club head. There is no real height adjustment to them either.  They would be good for someone who is a club hover hitter.

I like the idea of the rubber tees so as not to mark clubs. Think I might have to give them a try

If you were not so far I'd send you some! Shipping would cost more than they are worth though! 😆

Yes. First page I talked about them, as did a few others.  Not very good if you are a ground sweeper. Probably better for a hybrid or wood for.tee boxes
