Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Irons, fairway wood and rescue arrived yesterday, so I am looking forward to getting these in play soon.

 

I'm a Tuned Performance guy with TaylorMade. If you're in Ohio, you may bump into me fitting SLDR's at your driving range. For a golf club junkie, there's simply no better job or company.

 

Tour Preferred X, of course.

 

Irons are 1 DEG flat. 56 and 60 are 2 DEG and 2.5 DEG flat, respectively.

 

I built the counterbalance putter myself last year. It's 1 DEG up, 35.5" with 12g heel an 10g toe weight.

 

The 7-8 gapping issue is really a non-issue. You may see a slight increase in the gap, but I seriously doubt that it would be enough to cause a problem. After all, one of the main reasons for the slot is more consistent gapping through the set.

 

Tour Green is a great shaft. And I've never been an Aldila guy before. Love the weight and the firm but not harsh feel. It also kept my spin rate lower than the other shafts I tested.
