What equipment are you thinking about?

Booked a fitting at the new Lewisville, TX, Club Champion in 2 weeks. They're doing full bag fittings for 1/2 price, so I may do that, just not mess with irons or driver. I gotta fill my gaps, and I want to finally decide on hybrid or driving iron. I'll go through a putter fitting to see what shakes-out.

Really need a new bag now. Been reading up online to see if there is anything I like to looks of and cannot make up my mind. I mostly ride in a cart during the summer but while the weather is nice I like to use a push cart. If anyone has some suggestions please let me know.

If I had the money my choice would be the Ogio Silencer...

I walk with a push cart too and can't stand my clubs slamming into each other.

Really wanting a set of the Ping Glide Stealth wedges. I've been on the fence between those and the Cobra Blacks, but I'm diggin' the Pings a little more.

I was surprised that the Cobra Blacks are selling for $150. Ping is $10 cheaper. I have been thinking about wedges as well and have narrowed it down to the Cobra Blacks, King Pur, or Glide stealth.

I really want the Ogio Silencer but I've read they won't take to my oversized grips. Also I'm not in the market for new irons... but I really like the Wilson C300 forged irons. Blah dumb golf. Making me spend money I don't have.

The Wilson Staff C300 range does kinda make me feel like getting a new driver. If I didn't have my i200s, the C300 Forged would be on my wishlist!!

I think Wilson makes a pretty nice cart bag....that would be a good choice to go with the c300 forged!

I'm looking forward to trying to the PingG400  LST and Callaway Roque drivers.  Especially in an environment where I can really tell how they work me .  Maybe my trip to Club Champion will be the ticket.

I strongly encourage you to check out jumbomax grips.  I got the small and medium and the medium fit best for my hands (I wear a M/L glove and they recommended a medium on their site).  They aren't as big as some folks make them out to be - especially if you get the small or medium.  Some guys get the small and put them on their scoring irons (8-P) and put the medium on the other irons (5-7)... I tried a small on my PW and it was fine but preferred to have a consistent size through the set.

 

I liked them so much I added them to my hybrids.  I figured it was worth a try to just get one and see how it felt and I was astonished.  I don't think I'll ever go back to the "normal" grips again.

They aren't cheap (I found some new ones on ebay) but they are the bomb.

Thanks for the info! It's funny how something like grips can be a positive part of your equipment. Size does matter

I replaced the stock Callaway grips that came on my irons with the  Golf Pride Tour Wrap Jumbos today.   With that said I am going to order one of the jumbomax grips and have it ready for a test run.  I checked out their web site and there are some great reviews with the jumbomax grips.

those are for guys like NBA players with gigantic hands and you will hate it. If you're hesitant go smaller...

I can palm a basket ball so my hand is large but not NBA large.   I'm thinking this might  work for me:    JumboMax LARGE (+11/32")    midpoint 1.10"            butt 1.38"
