tony@CIC
Huh? Someone needs to explain that one. What does the last 10 years have to do with anything?Or even last 2 years. Grrrrrrr. That email took the wind out of my sails today. My response to them: Reading your email below, your 'upward adjustment' is based on "10 years of GHIN data as well as the previous 2 seasons of tournament golf at CIC" - that runs contrary to the spirit and results associated with improvement. Basically what I'm getting out of your email is that regardless of my improvement over this past winter and corresponding result in lower scores, you'll arbitrarily adjust my index? Please be more specific as to what lead to the 2 stroke increase in my index. Josh Ross
Went to hit off a lie board today to check on things since my swing change. I used to be 2° upright but don't think it's necessary anymore. I guess being a bigger guy (6'2", 330 lbs) I don't look like a solid golfer so the guy hands me a huge game-improvement iron to warm up with. I asked him for the MP-20 blade and he commented it's a hard to club to hit, I told him it was fine. After I smoked three straight down the middle he checked my lie and sent me on my way. Pretty satisfying to show him up, haha. Oh, and my lie is standard now so it's time to get my set bent back to normal.
