No way, small world! Belmont is a great place. I hope she is enjoying her time there.

I take a trip up to watch my alma mater (Erskine College) play the Abbey once a year or so.  I live less than an hour from the campus.

She loved her first year. Did great in school and great in track. We are actually contemplating moving out that way somewhere. We are just in the investigation stages.

Hypothetically speaking of course. If a wife has weekly physical therapy appointments that a husband has to drive her to, and that physical therapy business is across the street from a little 9-hole executive course, then it only seems appropriate to support the local business and play 9 while waiting right? Asking for a friend.

Sounds fair to me👍

I always thought moving sucked, but now with kids who are taking it kind of hard it really sucks.

Next week Sir, and ours will look similar.

K so I know a lotta dudes .. including some who were not yet around when the first "Top Gun" came out .. are walking around saying...

"Goose - I'm feeling it - I'm feeling .. The .. Need .. For .. SPEED!"

(or maybe humming "Danger Zone" to themselves 😄)

..but here's a really cool article from 1983 that the director and producers credit as the inspiration for the movie ...

Having all these posts and threads about the LIV tournament are kind of annoying. I read them but they all feel like they about to cross the political line or they are b*tching about random crap. I feel some people are way too heated about something that honestly doesn’t need to be heated. Keep your political thoughts to yourself as the forum rules state and quit creating posts that seem like you just want to argue! Rant over

The Yellowstone River set a new flood flow record yesterday at 49,200 CFS, topping the previous 30,000 mark!

The park closed all entrances yesterday after the road following the Gardiner River was washed out in 5 places and they had numerous rock/mudslides around the park. What's nuts and a bit concerning is that we've really not had any long spells of warm weather. 😬

Locally, the Ruby River is just over maximum channel flow and flooding many of the fields.  I'm scheduled to head out Monday for the PNW Meet-up... hopefully I can make it.

Searching CL for one of these.  Chris is so going to want to take it for a spin 🙂

Rain rain go away (or maybe go to the drought stricken areas)! We came up to our Ohio condo to escape the summer rainy season in Florida. Over the past 2 weeks in Ohio we've had torrential downpours. The course has been closed twice already. Tuesday a.m. men's League was cancelled again today.

When I was a kid there was a guy who had an actual "Aqua Car" in my hometown, which is next to a bay .. saw it driving on the street and actually once going down a boat ramp and into the water!

That video is bonkers. The way the house remained intact 🤯 I can’t imagine watching my house disappear like that. I grew up in a small town just south of San Francisco on the coast. One of the neighborhoods a couple miles north of me overlooking the ocean lost a block of homes to beach erosion. One day you are looking out your front window at houses across the street and later you have ocean views.

Well it looks like they have an excuse as to why they will need to go buy more guns.
