Matsuyama Bagging Srixon Z 965 Blades

Got this note from Srixon tonite.  Hideki Matsuyama bagged Srixon's new Z 965 blades this past weekend in Hawaii, where he finished 2nd.  

 

Srixon says Matsuyama had been testing both the 965 blades and the 765 players' cavity backs since winning the Hero World Challenge.

 

The Z 965's muscle-back blade option in the Z65 forged irons line. It features Srixon's Tour V.T. Sole design - Srixon says the new sole creates less drag through the turf, improves shot consistency and tightens dispersion. The compact blade-style head is forged from soft, mild 1020 carbon steel.

 

Interestingly, Matsuyama has not switched to the new Cleveland RTX-3 wedges.  No word on if that's in the plans.
