Common sense rules for everyone

Expand #3 a little.

Golf is a social game. But talk and walk. When it's your turn, hit. THEN talk!

I've learned to hit while people are talking to me. It saves time.

This.  1000x's this.

We aren't pros, and you know what, even if we were, if someone talking during your backswing is a problem, then, seriously, focus...

I actually like some noise while I'm swinging, it helps to keep me from overthinking every motion and detail.

Same here. Unless a course is super short I play the middle tees. Around the 6600 yard mark give or take. I think it's a good challenge for where my game is right now.

Here you would be comfortable at 6400 due to the elevation change. If I came to Columbus I would be at least a club and a half stronger. Here a 7 iron is my 150 club with the Callaway irons 6iron with the vintage Macs. Actually I can go 150 miles up North to the Charlotte area and have to club down one club.

Glad to see you are up and posting after your tune up. Of course you would be good at listening while hitting. In your profession you would have to be a good listiner. Back in my comp days I was so focused I did not hear nothing. I was so zoned in I shut everything out with out thinking about it. Of course to be truthful ( I think it is a mortal sin to lie to a man of the cloth) I would be so hung over I did not care either

There was a time when that last statement was true of me as well. I bet we had similar experiences there too. Get to the parking lot with no tee time or range, open the car door and visit nature for a bit, walk to the starters shed, down some coffee and pastry, hit a few putts, here your name called and off you went - carrying and walking.

No wonder I needed a heart procedure. Its a miracle I'm still alive.
